Abbey Barn offers beautifully laid out rooms and a tranquil setting, ensuring a comfortable stay. The welcoming owners enhance the experience , and the property comes with a pool. It’s located just outside of town so it’s handy if you need to get something from the shops or go out for dinner. I highly recommend this place we had a wonderful stay.

This is a great location, close to Whangarei but far enough out to feel like you are in the country. Immaculate and vast grounds to wander and an awesome swimming pool, entertainment area. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and accomodating. We had wood fired pizzas in their pizza oven one night and a dip in the pool each day. Beds were comfortable and everything was lovely and clean.We will definetly stay again next time we are in Whangarei.

Darron and Fiona greeted us upon our arrival. They were very accomodating. We stayed upstairs with a king size bed and kitchen/LR. The large bathroom was downstairs. A nice breakfast selection of teas, yogurt, muesli and jams. Gorgeous property and landscaping. A dream come true. yogurt and museli.

The area is gorgeous, we stayed for 1 night, it is a nice place to crash for a night. All rooms inside very clean. There are two cats very friendly. Recommend brining a pack of cards for evening entertainment as there is no TV. Otherwise we were very well provided for.
