The property itself was fine. We live a couple hours away from DFW and had an early morning flight, so decided to stay at La Quinta the night before our trip. Though La Quinta offers a free breakfast--currently just a takeout bag due to Covid--the breakfast service doesn't start until 7AM. We needed to leave at 6AM, so no breakfast :-(
We also paid $10/day to leave our car at the motel and used the airport shuttle. Though the front desk said the shuttle would only take 15-20 minutes, when we returned it took over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport, and after picking up other arrivals from other terminals, it was 1.5 hours before we got back to the motel. Remote parking at the airport is also $10/day, and it doesn't take 1.5 hours to get to remote parking-- so in the future we will not leave our car at La Quinta.
