「For the money it is a good location. Not far from Paraa where it is 3-4 times more this hotel ot is a bargain. With little improvement could be a super deal. Even so it is a good deal. 「The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. 」

Some of the world’s only tree climbing lions can be found in Uganda, and we had the luck to experience it first hand! We saw this other 4x4 that had stopped to look at something so we approached it slowly and saw that there were a bunch of lions laying around in the high grass. The other guys told us they had been looking for a while but there was no activity, so they left. But we stayed, because we saw that there was a perfectly fine looking fig tree (the preferred kind of tree for tree climbing lions) just a short distance away. And what do you know – after a while they got up, stretched their legs, walked slowly up to the tree, and climbed up, one by one. So awesome! 😻 #nature #uganda #africa #safari #lions #ishasha
