"Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I chose to return because of its calm, zen-like atmosphere and excellent location, which feels like an oasis after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city. The property is generally very clean, and the lobby creates a welcoming first impression. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a major let-down and well below the standards I have come to expect from this hotel. While the staff were quick to acknowledge the issue and offered complimentary lounge access for one day during our five-night stay, the gesture felt somewhat inadequate as it did not extend to any other facilities. The staff were otherwise helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was good, although there was room for improvement. Overall, while the hotel retains its peaceful charm and strong location, parts of the property are beginning to feel dated, and the disappointing arrival experience detracted from what could have been a much stronger stay."

"We stayed at The Leela Mumbai from 26-29 May with Royal Club access and had an excellent experience.On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the Club Lounge, where Gerald handled our check in. As this was our first visit to India since 2020, his friendly, professional and attentive approach immediately put us at ease. He also helped us with our request for interconnecting rooms, showing us the available options and allowing us to choose without any pressure. The outstanding hospitality extended throughout the hotel. Every staff member we encountered -from the porters and reception team to the restaurant staff, housekeeping colleagues, room attendants and cleaning staff-was warm, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. Their attention to detail and proactive service made us feel truly valued. The Club Lounge team looked after us exceptionally well. Service was consistently attentive, and the selection of snacks and canapés was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.Our only minor disappointment was that seasonal fruits such as mangoes, lychees and mangosteens were available only as chargeable items. Given that these fruits were in season and are so popular in India, we had hoped they might be offered complimentary in the lounge or available in guest rooms upon request. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the exceptional hospitality shown by Gerald and the entire team. Look forward to returning soon."

"The check in staff, technical staff to help with broadband and aircon etc, housekeeping and waiting staff at the restaurant were very attentive and helpful. The chef at the live breakfast countrer was very warm and remembered meal preferences, a nice gesture. They made the experience of staying at Garden Inn very enjoyable and in line with much more expensive properties. Air conditioning is a bit of an issue at the hotel and requires constant monitoring. The temperature is never uniformly maintained in the room or corridors and the air conditioning in the restaurant and public/shared spaces could actually be colder. Broadband never worked with the room no and name combination and tech support had to share their password which was helpful but slows things down after check in. Some of the waiting times at the restaurant for the meals to arrive could also be shorter. Overall a nice experience."

"An absolute 5-star experience! The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and in a perfect location near the airport. The entire staff goes completely out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for true luxury!"

"On check in, the staff were polite, helpful and willing to help with all our questions. Kaushik and the young lady (I didn't get her name), were excellent, and later, Jude met us and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. In the lounge, Brewster, Philipi, and Nglapem were very attentive and provided a great service. In the Lotus cafe, Lalit alwats sertved us with a smile. Whilst there are works going on in the hotel, most of the services were still available except the steam, sauna and kids pool. This didn't deter the hotel being one of the best! The rooms were clean and comfortable with good products, the cleaning staff made sure everything was stocked up. The breakfast is one of the main highlights and it didn't fail to meet expectations, a great feast!"
