The view is beautiful, it is remote - almost otherworldly. The unit (lodge) is brand new, immaculate, the windows are insane. Has all the amenities you need too. Esther and Pierre have done a remarkable job. It is a “bucket list” stay, 1000 percent.」

「We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights, the first two nights of our holiday. The bedroom & balcony overlooks the sea. We saw 3 whales the first evening from the shore path. The second day we toured the peninsula & saw all of the sights. We had a wonderful couple of days. The cabin is well equipped & had everything we needed. We bought supplies in Bonus supermarket in Borgarnes on the way from the airport. The murals are interesting & worth a look. Rent a jeep if you’re heading out this...

「The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. 」
