「It's far easier to talk about the negatives points of Shorecroft....nothing! We've stayed in holiday cottages for years and Shorecroft is by far the most outstanding. The location and views are simply stunning, Shorcroft itself is fabulous and oozes quality, from the beds and bedding through to the kitchen utensils, literally everything has been thought about and executed to perfection. There was even smoked salmon and Champagne awaiting our arrival. We definitely hope to return, thank you.」

「ツアーで行ったオークニー旅行の途中、この宿に夜８時に到着。ツアーのミニバスが玄関に着くと同時に建物の中から出迎えの声が聞こえ、笑顔の美しいオーナーが私のファーストネームを呼びながら話しかけてきてくれました。４泊５日の最後の宿でしたので、わりと疲れがたまっていたのですが、彼女のおもてなしの気持ちが伝わってきて、夫も私も元気になりました。朝食もおいしく、夫がいただいたコンチネンタルの朝食には大きなメロンの上に旬のサマー・ベリーズが３種類ものっかってました（ラズベリー、ブラックベリー、いちご、ブルーべリー）。ひとつだけ残念だったのは、バスルーム付という表示を見てダブルの部屋を予約したのですが、割り当てられた部屋の中にバスルームがなく、部屋を出たすぐのところ（階段の踊り場）にある私たち専用のバスルームを使わないといけませんでした。使うたびに服を着て部屋を出るのが面倒だったので、予約サイトでの明示が必要かと思います。こうした不自由はありましたが、次にUllapoolに泊まる機会にも泊まりたいと思う宿です。」

「Functional house to stay in, within close walking distance to the beach, which is great with young children. Everything worked in the property, though as of 2023 it is looking very tired. Note that the double room is separate to the other three, and the stairs to it are not suitable for young children.」

「Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. 」

「Bed super comfy and towels lovely and soft. Decor and space in our particular room not great. Supper food really good, breakfast a little underwhelming. Would have felt nicer to have experienced a few more smiles from some staff 」
