We enjoyed lively conversations with both the team and fellow guests in the restaurant, swapping travel tips and stories. It felt like being part of a community rather than just another hotel stay. Thanks to its great location, warm hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, the Bischoff Hotel has become our go-to place whenever we return to explore Cradle Mountain and the surrounding area. "The Empire Hotel Queenstown oozes character and charm. Our room was simple but clean with lovely linen and the beds were very comfortable. Our check in at the front bar was easy and the staff were very friendly. Pub food was nicely done and it was a fantastic location straight across the road from the Wilderness Railway station in Queenstown. Lovely old town with friendly locals."
