The property was beautiful! The restaurant on site Nova was delicious and the staff are so family as well. Make sure you reach out prior to checking in and stress your check in time because it is not that accessible. More of a hotel than a resort and you can't really swim in the beach, but overall beautiful.

This property feels more like a restaurant than a hotel. The pool area is mostly reserved for the on-site restaurant, and had only four lounge chairs around the pool. This made it awkward especially on busy weekends when we just wanted to relax and be by the pool. Check-in was frustrating as no one was at the front desk and we never received the access code or room number. Restaurant staff had to call someone to assist us at the bar. We also saw others struggling with the same issue during our stay. The front desk was unattended most of the time. It was difficult to get towels or any help. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and not guest-focused. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was beautiful and the restaurant was outstanding. No fighting for seats on the beach or at the restaurant. Beach chairs were extremely comfortable and everything was well taken care of. Only comments include that the wifi did not work and the reception staff were not available. We were completely unsure how to check out.

I experienced Cobalt Coast Resort March 2026 for a 3 day solocation, celebrating my 40th birthday. It is definitely an affordable hidden gem. The views are drop dead gorgeous at any hour of the day, the staff is well mannered and very knowledgeable on any question you may have. The pool, jacuzzi, and grounds are clean and organized. Andy at Nova Restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and worth the money. I will be returning soon for a longer stay.

Loved the private location - you Defs need a ca if you are goin to stay at this hotel. But it was well worth it. We loved our mornings and evenings down by the water. Happy hours up at Nova and daytimes at 7 mile beach.

Cobalt Coast is nestled in a quiet part of the island, right on the ocean. We had an modern, oceanview room with a little patio. The pool was lovely and we had a private beach. There was lots of parking and an amazing onsite restaurant and 2 or 3 more closeby away from busy seven Mile Beach.

Our room was recently renovated and very clean and spacious. We loved sitting on our balcony watching the ocean waves. The food at Noma was excellent! We would love an option to have breakfast included. One thing that surprised us was that the rooms were “self cleaning”. That was a bit tricky with th beach sand so a quick sweeping midway through our stay would have been appreciated.

The property is a bit run down, so the three star rating I think is appropriate. But I absolutely love the pool and hot tub. Our room’s interior has been updated and is very modern. But there were some issues that we noticed. One is that the curtains on the windows cannot be closed fully. There is only one curtain rod which holds both the lace and blackout curtains so when trying to completely close the blackout curtains, they can’t be pulled together because the lace curtains are all bunched up between the two sides of the blackout curtains. This is really unacceptable. Plus, some of the drawers have heights that are too small to be useful for anything and the bedside drawers seem to be much shorter than the table itself. Water pressure was too low. There is no vent in the bathroom to get rid of moisture. Why don’t hotels that serve clients that typically use the pool or go diving have areas in their rooms where wet clothes can be hung to dry??

Staff was very helpful and friendly they made us feel comfortable and welcomed . The room was clean but sparse, the quality wis not great , the pool is pretty but very small, the beach access was almost inaccessible unless you want to use the pier and go snorkeling. There isn’t any activities to do there and the location is kind of away from everything unless you rent a car. The bus stop is about 10 min walk,

I like the quiet location of this place. The pool and hot tub is really nice. You can jump into the water from the pier which is really nice. The bar and food are excellent. They were remodeling when we were there and our room wasn't quite put together, but they sorted it out with us an all was well.

The resort is in a great location- we rented a car so we were within minutes driving distance to supermarket, restaurants, tourist attractions (about 15-20 mins to downtown). Having a car is recommended, as everything may be a bit too far for walking. The neighborhood of the hotel felt safe. There is a very small beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas but you can't go in the water because it's very rocky. We had the standard king room with no view and it was right next to restaurant kitchen (room 104)- not ideal for light sleepers or those that want a more "luxurious feel", you may hear restaurant crew talking and moving furniture outside the room late night. Otherwise room was clean and had essentials. Staff were nice overall. Food at the restaurant at the hotel was okay but a bit pricey.

Resort is remote (more for divers). Besides resort restaurant/bar any other restaurant/bar/shopping is at least 10-15 drive away. Room had issues (broken widow, problematic A/C, dangerous shower), owner admitted that room was to be renovated but they rented away. After 48 hours, and complaining, moved to a renovated room with a non-function bathroom vent fan. It was obvious the resort was trying to renovate rooms/ground while renting to customers. No 24/7 resort Manager/supervisor/person on the resort grounds. The restaurant, not owned by the resort, was very good but with a very limited menu and pricey. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful, the resort staff not so much. Only real perk about booking this resort is that there is a dive shop there if you want to go diving and you get free use of the snorkeling equipment with stay at the resort
