Come get cozy at Elmwood, a modern farmhouse with a pool & hot tub, in a prime location for visiting Waxahachie and the Ellis County area.

This beautifully furnished home has 4 bedrooms, a cozy firepit, outdoor grill, board games & more. Just minutes from the Waxahachie Square, where there is dining, shops and breweries plus it's super close to jump on the highway. Located on a quiet street right next to a park with a Freebie golf course, miles of running trails, basketball court & more!

This lovely house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. 1 master bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom, 3 guest rooms with a queen bed in each.

The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults in the beds but you are welcome to bring up to 10 people, w/ kids or if you'd like someone to sleep on one of the couches.

Great Stay

We had a great 2 week stay in Waxahachie. Taylor was great to work with. We had a bit of an issue and had to move in quickly. The house was ready for us and had no issues our entire stay. It's in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to major highways. The highlight was definitely the hot tub! Would recommend.

Family wedding weekend!

We stayed at this house for the weekend of my brother's wedding. There were 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space but also be comfortable in the living spaces to visit. It was a short drive to restaurants and stores. We highly recommend this house to anyone needing to spend time in the area!

Family Reunion in Waxahachie

This home was clean, well located, and had ample space for our guests. The two sitting areas, two dining areas, and back yard allowed us to have nice visits with family members. The nearby park was a plus. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions.

Hot tub heaven

House was amazing, hot tub and pool was perfection. Only suggestion is more kitchen gadgets and a little update to the outdoor furniture. Highly recommend this location it was great and the host was fantastic. If we travel that way again we would stay for sure!

Comfortable stay in nice area.

The property was very comfortable for our family gathering. The pool was a great time for us and the park nearby was a definite bonus. The only negative was the initial listing was less than we ultimately had to pay and neither VRBO nor the owner honored the initial listed price.

Girls’ Weekend

A few girlfriends and I wanted to get away for the weekend without going too far. This house was perfect. Adorable decor, beautiful pool, and everything we needed. Great location to local restaurants, shopping, etc. The neighborhood seemed safe, but it’s definitely an active residential area. Host was very attentive too. We loved it and will return!

Excellent House

We stayed here for 4 nights while the drag races were in town at Ennis, Texas. The house was spotless and had an additional bonus of a pool and hot tub. We all had zero complaints about anything. We will be back next year and hopefully we can rent this house year after year.

Excellent Host and Accommodations

The house was perfect, with every amenity imaginable. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and grill. The house was equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals. We felt safe in the neighborhood and very comfortable in the house. Taylor was on the spot with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and will certainly visit it again if the opportunity arises.

Perfect place to stay for family wedding nearby

We were in town for a family gathering and this place was just perfect for our stay. With four comfortable bedrooms and two baths, several living areas to convene and eat, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals (including plenty of pots and pans which is often a problem at rental places), it accommodated our group of 8 easily. We regret that it wasn't warm enough to use the pool as that would have been a bonus. All in all, I would highly recommend this rental. Very spacious, comfortable, and clean!

Convenient location

My daughter had her wedding at the Arrowwood Wedding and Events. I chose this house for its proximity to the venue and number of bedrooms. It was perfect for the bridal party the night before and the family the next 2 days. We had a small issue at the last minute that the host was able to help us out with. So very thankful for that. We would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.

The floors need to be redone. In the bathroom also. They need blackout curtains. There are no dressers so they need to have lots of hangers k. All the closets. The refrigerator was not clean and the bathroom sink was plugged. They came day 2 and fixed it

The home was very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. We spent a good amount of time in the pool! The only thing i would say that wasn't enjoyable is that when we entered the home it was HOT! and that is only because before you checkout you have to turn off the air. It took an entire day in the texas summer to cool down, other than that we really enjoyed our stay and we would book again.
