"Miriam's home is wonderful and has everything to make your stay feel like home. This is the second time we have stayed at her place and will do so in the future. "This cute ranch is very clean and well stocked for guests. We only had three people in our group, but the house can definitely host more people comfortably. It is very close to downtown Shipshewana and other surrounding shops and attractions. My only suggestion would possibly be investing in new mattresses. "Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Beautiful view of lake and the cottage had everything we needed. The deck was so nice for meals and relaxing. The home was very comfortable and well maintained with beautiful gardens. Kids were able to swim from pier….loved the games and puzzles and nice fire pit for S’mores! The lake is quiet and several sandy areas to anchor and swim. The cottage was perfect for us and hope to return. "

"I was slightly apprehensive about renting a vacation spot that I was totally unfamiliar with. BUT, once we arrived I was TOTALLY delighted! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The back yard truly was a private oasis. And, we absolutely loved the ping pong AND the cornhole boards! I would definitely recommend! "My family and I were impressed with how well the cottage is maintained as well as how welcoming the hosts are. Kent was extremely responsive and addressed our questions relating to the area and property promptly. Swimming on the lake was beautiful, relaxing, refreshing, and rejuvenating. We didn’t have to leave except for groceries as all our needs were met including board games, grill, water accessories, and lots of other amenities. "The neighborhood was nice. The different levels of the house were good for accomodating our family. A few minor repairs were needed. We didnt use the hot tub due to lots of spiders all over it. The property manager helped us locate enough life vests, and was very helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. "
