Everything you need

Property has everything you need and then some. Inside of the house has so many little extra touches and the outside gives you places to relax and play. The pontoon lets you explore the lake and we caught some real nice panfish and bass.

Magical

Our family had a very nice time and really enjoyed our family vaction. The smores kit and coffee bar were just a couple of the many little surprises and extras for our stay. We loved the hot tub, boat, and the home is beautiful. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Outdoor Space

My family loved the yard and fishing off the dock. It was a huge plus to have access to the pontoon boat. The other people on the lake were very nice and even gave us some great fishing tips on where to fish and when. We also spent a lot of time in the evenings at the fire with the swings and usually capped off the night with a dip in the hot tub before bed.

Definitely worth the stay!

We had a wedding the weekend we stayed. Definitely made the weekend one for the books! Loads of thing to do in the rain or the sunshine highly recommend and if we’re ever in the area we’re definitely staying again!

Super Cozy

Went here for a little weekend get away trip for my wife’s birthday. The house and property were beautiful! The weather was pretty cold so we spent a lot of time by the fireplace watching movies. We used the charcoal grill to make dinner one night then played some of the available board games! A great place. We would 100% come back here again!

A gem!

Newly redone house is beautiful inside with everything you need and extras such as s’mores, wine, coffee, biscotti, etc. Huge private yard on lovely quiet lake! Nearby 27 holes at Waushara Country Club was in splendid shape and all the close by restaurants made this a great few days. Also loved the hiking at Bohn Lake.

Beautiful!

The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (and more)! We also enjoyed the beautiful view and the hot tub! The welcome basket was a huge hit with the kids (5 & 7) as was the bin of toys! We also enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and proximity to nordic mountain! we would love to visit again in the summer! thank you so much!

Hidden Gem

Alpine Oasis is the hidden gem, I’m so thankful I stumbled across! From the moment we walked through the doors, the welcoming smells and the esthetically pleasing decor, made our stay feel so cozy and comfortable! From the cozy beds and all the throw blankets, the fully stocked kitchen, the wood burning fire place, to the hot tub, everything was absolutely perfect! This weekend getaway was relaxing and stress free, thank you, thank you, thank you! We will 💯 be back! Highly recommend everything about the Alpine Oasis, a slice of heaven!

Nice Little Getaway!

The property was just as described. All necessities were included, so all we needed to bring was our clothing. We spent a lot of time each day just putting around on the lake in the included pontoon. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub during the cool evenings. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. The host is very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The only thing that was not as satisfactory was the furniture in the living room. While very stylish, it was not comfortable for relaxing at night. We ended up laying out the sofa bed to lounge on, along with the bunk bed. However, it didn't take away from our trip and would recommend this spot to anyone.

Super cute, well equipped, extra chill!

House was immaculate, perfect lake house vibes, and had *everything.* We spent a week just chilling, taking a couple of laps on the boat each day, kayaking, fishing, swimming and just snoozing in one of the chairs in the yard. The dogs loved trying to catch frogs and running around the huge yard. The lake was very quiet with only the occasional slow pontoon or kayaker passing by the house. Our only regret was that we didn't figure out the best spot to swim until the last day! (Take the pontoon boat on the other side of the island, in the big bay area by the dam, and swim off the boat. Very deep and no weeds!)

Top-notch hosts

Alpine Oasis is truly a fitting name for this wonderful place. The hosts provided more than any vacation rental we’ve ever used. Free pontoon, paddleboat, SUP, kayaks, numerous life vests, s’more fixings, generous coffee bar, plentiful USB ports, nice quality bedding and towels, starter laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, and much more. Celina and Becky were extremely helpful and responsive. They are the first hosts to genuinely make me feel like a welcome guest in their home. This property really provides a perfect amount of privacy without feeling secluded. The flat yard to the lake and beach area are perfect. We also loved the lighting in the yard. It is perfect for keeping bugs away from the doors while still allowing visibility in the yard. My sons and husband all had good luck with fishing, too! It was a terrific experience for our family and we hope to return in the future.

Worth the Stay

Alpine Oasis was an amazing place for our long weekend getaway. The hosts were amazing and provided more than just what they have listed in their post. The provided Smore's fixings and an unbelievable coffee bar which were a pleasant surprise. The pontoon was great. I really liked that the back of the seats flip so you can sit either direction. The Paddleboard looked brand new and was really fun on the calm lake. The fishing right off the pier is amazing for kids. There are a ton of really small pan fish that are eager to catch your hook. If you have young kids who just want to catch any fish, I highly recommend just throwing a line in off the pier or the docked boat and you will get a fish within 10 seconds. The firepit was well maintained and created relaxing evenings. The hosts, Celina and Becky were extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Not as nice as it looks

Our experience started with a message from the host less than 48 hours before our stay staying that the hot tub would be out of order for our stay because the needed part wouldn't arrive in time. She did proactively offer a $100 discount. Upon arrival I checked the hot tub to see if it was fixed and found it mostly empty and full of leaves. It sure looked like it had been out of order for more than a few days and left me wondering how long the host really knew it wouldn't be available for our use and why she waited til the last minute to tell us. We found two towels in the bathroom that disgustingly reeked of car urine. Unfortunately my wife discovered this the hard (gross) way putting one on her head after a shower. When I contacted the host about this she told us she was sorry it didn't meet our "expectations" like it was an "us problem." All the furniture is getting uncomfortable and run down. There's a broken chair in the dining room. There's a giant wasp nest in the tree over the outdoor seating area, good thing it's too late in the season for them. The interior is cute with nice touches like a hot chocolate bar but the experience here is not what you'd expect from the photos and price.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The home was decorated so beautifully, just as it was pictured. The amenities were amazing. We loved the coffee bar and the boats to take a spin around the lake. Excellent communication with the owner. I highly recommend!
