It is advertised as a budget hotel, but it is actually a motel. There are no external photos on the booking site to give this away, and no reference to this in the booking information.
The staff were courteous and helpful, and the room was clean.

Some guests don't seem to realize that others don't appreciate their loud conversations outside the front window early in the morning. American tourists, we suspect! We used to live at a CN rail divisional community, so the train wasn't as much of a disturbance in this case.

We were given two separate rooms because our original room was freshly painted and the smell was still noticeable. Very nice place would definitely stay here again, no breakfast or ice , but the gas stations open late and have snacks and ice.
