I took a chance on a motel with the name "Budget", and was so pleasantly surprised! I had a basic queen room (108), right next to the office which for a woman traveling alone was a comfort. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and the staff helpful and friendly. I was impressed with the large, spotless fridge with separate freezer... I've been in much more expensive hotels that didnt have that! Will definitely stay again if my travels bring me back to Watertown NY!

Overall room was great, clean and had everything we expected. Only issues were the microwave had notes of cleaning agents so maybe rinsing that so there is no scent. The bed cover/blanket had stains. Staff was great and took care of that right away.

Weekend stay

Allen's Motel is older but extremely clean, comfortable and accommodating. Our late arrival was no problem since we called ahead. Beds and pillows really comfortable and staff very friendly. Central to many locations and more than worth the price. Will stay again!

Very good place for the price

Room was fine and the clerk was friendly. Beds were full, not queen, so not especially roomy--but great value overall.
