  • Peaceful family cabin minutes from Main St. Wasilla. Perfect place to base your Alaskan adventure. True cabin style living with two queen beds in the loft and the most supportive pullout sofa bed you've ever slept on sofa bed on the main floor. Close to Wasilla Airport, Menard Sports Center and Parks Hwy, perfect for all the tournaments and shows at the Menard. Great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. We also have 4 other adjacent cabins on other listings for group stays. Shared firepits are available during the summer on a first come basis, firewood is not provided.

This is a sweet cabin overall. The owner was very clear and consistent in communications, too. We were one of the fortunate few that had amazing weather during our trip in June 2026. We needed to open all the windows, but several didn't have screens in them. (Mosquitos are huge and voracious in Alaska--window screens are a necessity!) Also, because we were there near the summer solstice, we had pretty much constant sunlight. There were blackout curtains only in the loft bedroom, which is open to the rest of the cabin below. It was light enough to see all night long in June. :) The queen beds upstairs were super comfy!

Absolutely perfect! Very clean and everything was put together nicely . Bed and sheets and pillows can always be a deal breaker but in this case they were a stand out! I spend half my year traveling spending time in many hotels and VRBO homes. I have stayed in many in that area and this will always be my go to place when in town. Owners were on top of communication and have a done a great job with their property!

Quiet, clean, well furnished cabin. It is only 10 minutes from the main part of Wasilla making it extra convenient as we were driving back and forth for a skating competition. The small extras and full size washer and dryer were definitely a plus when traveling with kids.

It was detached place with a neighbor close enough but not right next door. It was also very cozy, comfortable and the beds were wonderful. It had everything you need. Definitely a home away from home and i would stay there again.
