Gorgeous 1BR apt/Capitol Hill/Eastern Market Entire rental unit in Washington

  • There is truly no better location in the city! The flat is a light-filled and airy English basement with two private entrances. Amenities include kitchenette, Keurig coffee maker, private bath, cozy living room, queen size bed in bedroom, and a queen size memory foam sofa bed in living area. Walk to historic Eastern Market to shop for unique foods and antiques. Walk or metro 12 blocks to Capitol, the White House, Smithsonian, and the Mall.

    Our home has 3 floors. Owners occupy 2+3. Guests occupy all of the first floor.

    Guests enjoy full access to the entire lower level as well as garden and patio. The kitchenette includes a microwave and Keurig.

    Please note that the fireplace pictured is strictly ornamental. It is not operational.

    No smoking (including e-cigarettes) or open flame candles of any kind allowed on property.

    No overnight unauthorized guests. Exceptions can be made prior to arrival.

The stay was wonderful, very convenient! Very close to the metro. We were able to just park next to the property and take the train everywhere, which was really nice! It felt safe and welcoming. Thank you for the stay!

Fantastic!

Loved everything about our stay! Location is fantastic, with a rail stop, coffee shops, restaurants, and book / game stores a short walk away, and the hosts were very communicative and welcoming! Will definitely stay here again on future trips!

The only thing wrong was the air conditioner was loud, waking us up and it was hard getting in and out of the bed because of it very tight. Host was very accommodating and always got back to us when we asked questions.

Home away from home!

This was such a cute place and was perfect for me and my spouse and our 2 young boys. Very clean and great neighborhood! Close to restaurants and subway access. We loved our stay!

Great location - easy access to transit, groceries, restaurants, laundry service etc. We used as home base while we explored Washington DC. It worked out well for us. We used Uber and public transit (which was very effective) to get around and local laundry service. Not sure how easy it would be to park if you had a car. Hosts were responsive to all questions. Everything was clean and comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic experience!

Quaint, adorable, clean and charming VRBO. A short walk to the Metro, Trader Joe’s and the Eastern Market.The hosts are wonderful and have great communication. We look forward to another visit soon.

Great location and hosts

This is so close to an excellent subway system, local business/restaurants, and the Navy Yard area. We had everything we needed for our stay, the hosts were excellent with communicating, and we felt so close to everything. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful space and location

Wonderful place to stay in D.C very clean safe and close to the national mall. Paul and Judy are wonderful and were there with any questions with a quick response and even gave us some ideas of things to do

My stay at Paul & Judy's apartment was wonderful. The apartment was very clean. I felt very safe and comfortable. The location is perfect and very close to restaurants, grocery stores and the metro. I would absolutely consider staying there again the next time I'm in DC.It wasn't a big deal for me at all, but maybe for future guests, you could provide a kitchen towel (instead of paper towels) for cleaning up, a small cutting board and a cutting knife (for example, to cut cheese, fruits and veggies).
