Come visit the brand-new Bison Cottage at the Alaia Resort (Stucki Farms)! This single-level home suits a small family or multiple couples. It features a fully equipped kitchen with bar space, dining for six, and a living room with a comfy couch, oversized chair, and large HDTV. Sleeping up to eight, it has four bedrooms with luxury pillow-top mattresses, each with its own flat screen and streaming apps. There are 3.5 baths and a hot tub behind an iron gate in the courtyard for relaxing after touring. The home is quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk to the resort’s main area with many amenities. Additional Info: - Heated Lap/Sports Pool open year-round - Hot Pool open year-round - Lazy River open April to November - 18-Hole Mini Golf open year-round with rental discount - WiFi available - Check-in 4 PM, check-out 11 AM; early check-in/late check-out may be available for a fee - Entrance door code emailed the day before arrival for security

About Alaia Resort: Located in Washington City, Alaia offers accommodations from cottages to 8-bedroom villas. The 7-acre Amenity Area includes the Farmhouse Welcome Center, Lap Pool, Lazy River, Splash Pad, and Mini Golf. Stucki Farms is 45 minutes from Zion National Park, 10 minutes to downtown St. George, near the airport, Sand Hollow Reservoir, Warner Valley ATV trails, and popular hiking spots. Lovely place but several small issues. Wet towels left in dryer when we arrived. no local T v stations, filter in refrigerator needed changing, remote to adjustable bed didn’t work, cracked window in bedroom on left, someone’s contacts left in bedroom. Only one bulb in light over table, needed three.

Quiet Perfection

We thoroughly loved our stay at the Bison Cottage. The home was clean, comfortable, and quiet - easily accommodating our family. The on-site hot tub was a big hit with our teenage kids. The heated pool and mini-golf at the community center across the street was so much fun in our escape from cold winter weather up north. Next time we come to the area we will definitely try to stay here again.

Weekend at Bison Cottage

We had a great stay and took advantage of some of the amenities like the shared pool and private hot tub. The host was quick to respond with any questions before and during our stay. The room set up worked well for our group (two rooms connected to a jack & jill bathroom, two rooms with en suite bathrooms). The kitchen was well equipped and it was a quick 15-20 min to most food/groceries.

Great location, but a few things needed to make this a repeat booking

Overall it was a great time, and a great place to stay. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the mismatch on the title vs description of the listing. The title said the home sleeps 10 people, and in the description of the listing it said 8. Easily missed when the main points of booking a property for your family are read mostly with titles and photos. Response from the management company was good, and they even brought over an air mattress when we arrived with 10 people instead of 8. Here are a few other points, but I don't make them to discourage you from booking, it's more for the management company to take note and fix for the next renters as I know this is a newer rental. Bedroom #4 says queen on the description, but it looks/feels more like a Full size mattress. There was no propane in the fire pit outside to use on a chilly night. The master shower head was all but functioning with a slow dribble, and would never get warm. There was a leak coming from the laundry room that seeped into one of the master bedrooms making the carpet wet near the head of the bed. Overall, it's a great alternative to the crowded Santa Clara rental areas, and as long as the above items are addressed before you book, you'll have a great time staying there.

The experience was great! We wish the outside fire pit had propane so we could enjoy the outside a bit more. It was really cold.
