We had a brilliant stay at The Haymarket Hotel. The setup is quite unique, as the hotel is spread across several charming historic townhouses, which gives the place plenty of character.
The location is spot on... an easy walk to Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, and the Old Town, plus the tram and Haymarket station are just around the corner. Our room was spotless, surprisingly spacious, and very quiet. Thanks to the classic Scottish architecture, we had a lovely bay window with a seating area, which made the perfect cosy spot for a morning cup of tea. The en-suite bathroom was well equipped with quality toiletries, fluffy towels, and great water pressure.
A wonderful touch was the complimentary welcome drink, served right at the friendly reception bar, such a pleasant way to kick off our stay.
Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Everyone in our group was genuinely impressed, and we would happily book here again next time we visit Edinburgh. Highly recommended!
