A nice hotel for people on a budget, but it certaainly does need a refurb. While everythinf was perfectly functional it was very dated. Breakfast was good value and well presented. The location was good and easy for busses and trains.

I was disappointed as the main bar was closed for renovations and I was not informed prior to my arrival. Also pain coming off door in bathroom and black marks on bottom tiles in shower. There was no ondemand movies available and I could not connect my personal Netflix account to watch movies on the tv due to tech issues. Staff were great though but not sure if I will stay here again.

The kitchen was ok. Frying pan hopeless. No real sharp knife. No salt and pepper satchets. No bedside lamps and no power point in mezzanine bedroom. Trying to get suitcase up the spiral staircase hopeless. Couches are so uncomfortable. Considering room for 6, 9nly couch seating for 4.
