Easy to organise, nice room and shared spaces. Fridge organized for multiple rooms was good. Hot tub is good also. Walkable to cafes and shops. Only negatives.. no desk, in case you need to work or use a laptop. My wife found the sheets a little itchy.

It was very odd to stay at a property where there is no one on-site to answer questions or manage issues. Their WiFi was down in the evening/following morning of our stay, which was challenging for us since we were traveling without cell service and depended on WiFi to communicate. We had no way to reach them to tell them their WiFi wasn't working! It's an interesting place tho, room was comfortable and quiet. Had a nice communal kitchen and deck. Excellent location, easy to walk to town.

The lodge is on the egde of town. It was self check in. It has a shared kitchen that worked for our refridgerated items. Shared dishes and cooking if you choose. Nice outside patio. Private space. Didnt use the laundry but some folks did. Hot tub was shared but not busy. Can walk quickly to town. It was a nice place. When we had teouble with the internet, staff quickly fixed it. Nice olace.

We stayed for two nights in Wanaka. The Motel is a bit up the hill in a dead end but in 10 minutes by foot you easily can reach the waterfont. The rooms are clean with nice common rooms (kitchen outside terrace). There are more rooms than parking facilities, it can happen that you have to park a little bit down the road. Check-in and check-out were easy via documents at the outside when we arrived, we didn´t meet any staff. Only thing we didnt like was that we could hear our neighbours as at least our romm was poorly soundproofed.

The Hotel is fine & great location for a short stroll to town. We have tried to contact the hotel numerous times & still yet to receive any response. We had to change our booking to the previous day - Hotels.com could not get a response from Hotel. So we cancelled and re-booked, however the Hotel have not refunded us the initial night nor responded to that request. Essentially charged us 2 nights to stay one with no communication. Shame as everything else was fine.

It had the feel of a home. Very nice common areas. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no ac so the room was initially a little warm. We opened the windows and it cooled down nicely. By shutting the windows and curtains in the morning the room stayed cool. The proximity to town was a plus.

Overall an excellent place to stay, hence our multiple repeat stays. The lack of milk (it was over a week past use by date) for the tea & coffee supply, and only 6 coat hangers fro two people on a ski trip (you need a minimum of 6 each!) detracts from what is otherwise really very good.
