Chincoteague is close by and it's not too far from Assateague. The property management team is excellent. They were extremely responsive to our questions and requests. "The entire parking lot was completely flooded. There was no cover on the stairs leading to the second floor so the wood was extremely slick. We never checked into this property because we could not unload at this property. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. In contacting the property manager we were told there was absolutely nothing that could be done. And we were just out the money."

"We stayed 3 nights. They cleaned the room each day which was nice because we were tracking a lot of sand in. There is a nice screened in area for eating, with picnic tables, sink and refrigerator for family gatherings. Good location too."

"Heather at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. I rarely write reviews, but it was so refreshing to have someone in customer service who takes their role seriously. The room and facilities were clean also making for a lovely stay!"

"Close enough to the action, but far enough away. Convenient location that allows you multiple choices for driving to Assateague in 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and warm. Classic late 80s/90s beach vibe to the place which was exactly what I needed. The best sunsets, clean pool, and super cool hot tub room. I'll be back."

"Our stay in the overwater bungalow was awesome. The bungalow is definitely a boat in a floating dock which enhanced the experience. We experienced some very bad stormy weather and sleeping was a challenge with the rocking but it was also fun. The bungalow was clean, was furnished nicely, and had a pretty view. They are very close together. We loved it and had a great few days!"

"Although pricier than other places it really was lovely and worked so well for our family of four in a one bedroom apartment (2 kids aged 7 and 10). The holiday cabin was clean and nicely decorated with all the amenities you need for a few days away. We loved the pool and beach areas, which were great places to meet other families, and the kids loved being able to fish and crab straight outside our cabin. The staff were all lovely and really helpful, helping us phone restaurants (we had UK mobiles so couldn't make local calls) and check opening times and making suggestions for alternative activities when the weather turned stormy. It was our favourite accomodation on our trip and we would recommended it."
