Cozy Cottage- 3 blocks from Main St., Walden, CO

  • This quaint, well maintained cabin/cottage is located just three blocks from Main Street, Walden, Colorado. Walden is in the heart of North Park, an outdoors man's paradise and the moose viewing capital of Colorado. The cabin is approximately 850 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a pull-out couch to accommodate up to two additional people. The kitchen is fully furnished and an outdoor grill is available. A cozy gas fireplace is the main source of heat, but is only necessary during the cool fall nights and in throughout the winter months. The cabin was built in 1924, but has been well maintained and updated throughout the years. The cabin is also conveniently located one block from the town park and two blocks from the indoor swimming pool.
    Steamboat Springs, Granby, and Laramie (WY) are an hour drive from Walden (weather dependent).

Could not have been better

Hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. The house was everything we needed and check in/out was extremely easy. Would recommend to anyone staying in the North Park area and will stay again when we come back.

Perfect for the night

Great Location!!!

Loved sitting on the chairs in the front yard in the evening. The hummingbirds blessed us with multiple visits! The house was super clean and had plenty of parking.

Cute Cottage near the Steamboat Area

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It wasn't as close to Steamboat as we thought, however there really aren't many areas that are without being directly in Steamboat and paying the high prices. So if you don't mind a 45 minute drive into town its a good value. We explored areas that we wouldn't have if we weren't staying here. We enjoyed an evening hike at teal lake and enjoyed the views and drive along Hwy.14 to get to Steamboat. We definitely would recommend staying in this cute cottage.
