Such a great house for our family gathering! There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room still. Huge dinning table, lots of open space, wood burning stove was great! The location is unbeatable too.
Hopefully to be back in this place again next year, very roomy, loved the wood burner, kitchen had anything you needed, a minute from town yet quiet and tucked away, host Jenny was quick to answer any questions! Very great experience!
We enjoyed our stay in North Park. The accommodations were quiet and clean and the beds very comfortable. There was no washer and dryer but the laundromat in town was close by. Would definitely consider staying here again.
Was convenient to have a place for everyone to stay together versus motel rooms. Would stay again. Bathroom on main floor is real small, but worked for us. Big bedroom on main floor has no privacy but worked fine for our needs.
We always enjoy staying here! Plenty of room for our family to spread out and have their own space at night after a long day of racing snowmobiles in Walden. Owner always responds quickly and we appreciate the constant plowing of the driveway for our trucks/trailers and the never ending supply of firewood to keep toasty by the fireplace!

2nd season
House was very accommodating and well presented. Our issues we never found a key. Door was open house was clean. Did find a plate with French fries in the microwave. Not sure if the dishes in the dish washer were clean so ran it again. Good overall trip and would stay again.
The property was easy to locate and access. We will may even look to booking again for a possible summer fly fishing trip. Loved the location in terms of central to most any where we may want to go for our ice fishing trip. Maybe a little explanation cards available for the different types of heating available throughout the house (not all rooms had the same type of heating available). Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for bathing/showering, a little harder to find towels and dish rags for the kitchen, but we made due.
We were a group of 5 men on a hunting trip. The house had ample room for us to be comfortable.
We really enjoyed the wood burning stove for the cold evenings.
The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much anything you would need, and the large dinning room and table were nice to spread out for our meals.
The only thing we would request is for some curtains or doors on the bedrooms for a bit more privacy.
Jenny was a very attentive host and replied quickly with answers to any of our questions.
Oh yeah, all 5 of us drove our own vehicles and we had plenty of off road parking for all of our vehicles. Hopefully the property is available for next year. We will be back.
The only request we would have is for s
The house is not fancy, but it was comfortable. Rustic old farmhouse is antiquated, but met our needs fine. The owner added a new gas range and dishwasher while we were there, but we still were without a washer/drier. The house is very spacious with lots of room. The location is right in town and very easy to find and access. There was ZERO Wifi or internet access, but this was fine with us! The property owner was easy to contact and responsive. Nice neighborhood with friendly cat and dogs. Bring your own kitchen implements and a can opener.
Jenny was there cleaning and let us unload upon our arrival. The house was easy to find.
She was easy to work with and answered most of my questions before we ever arrived. The house worked out great for us, it was roomy enough that we could spread out. Be aware there is no washer or dryer but a laundry mat 3 blocks away. Close proximity to everything. No wifi but we did all have a cell signal so that helped if you have a hot spot. The TV is there, not attached to any signal though. Kitchen was great, very usable, with most everything you need to feed a crew. Grocery not far away. Town was great, nice folks everywhere we went.
Thanks for a great hunting vacay! Will most likely be back if we are in the area.

Wedding weekend with small group
The house was big enough to host our group of 9 people, which was great. We enjoyed having enough space for everyone to gather in the living room and at the dining room. 2 couples slept elsewhere due to no doors on most bedrooms, so not everyone got to sleep in the home. It was realy odd not to have doors on most of the rooms. We also had tried to reach out to the host via VRBO app message, text, and phone call with no communication back, then about 24 hours before our stay we got notice about an additional charge to add one dog to our 2 night stay. There was no message to confirm we would be bringing our dogs. It was a bit of a shock, considering we let the host know months ahead of time we would have 2 small dogs (1 dog allowed per the listing) and there was no communication about cost until right before the stay. There was no wifi. The host also did not provide any check in info on the day of arrival. We showed up and hoped the door would be open. The kitchen was well stocked to make it useable for cooking meals. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Linens were clean. Location was great and easy to get to town and restaurants, plus amble parking. Since it was for our wedding weekend, it was a little stressful!

Great Location
This is a large home. There is plenty of space for a lot of people. There is no privacy in the downstairs bedroom which connects to living room, kitchen and dinning room. It would be good for kids. Curtains dont cover front windows makes changing clothes interesting. Downstairs bathroom is VERY small and the only mirror is on a medicine cabinet mounted on the side of the sink. Basically not very useable. Upstairs has a nice bathroom and two bedrooms and a lot of privacy. There is a television but you have to use your hot spot on your cell phone to have internet to watch anything. Windows are all taped closed and are covered in clear plastic. Kitchen: plenty of dishes and frying pans. Minimal kitchen bowls for mixing. Plenty of napkins and paper towels. Large table for dinner was nice. This home is very old. But also quaint and could be really neat. Also, stairs are very steep. In case there is a person in your party who lacks mobility.
We’ve rented three houses in Walden over the last three hunting seasons, and this was by far the best. Great kitchen, great communication from the owners, great location, an all around great stay. We liked it so much, that we reserved it for next hunting season already.
Great location, beautiful views. Jenny is great! Everything you need to cook. We very much enjoyed the wood stove. House works great for our hunting group! We will see you next year!
