"The best beach in the world - soft sand, warm water, just enough waves for gentle boogie boarding, and a beautiful coastline. Access to top quality restaurants and the best breakfast buffet."

"The studio apartment was a charming place conveniently located close to many amenities (cafes, groceries, restaurants, etcetera). The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Waimea was our base to explore other areas such as Pololu valley, Hawi and others. The manager was very helpful in providing local information of good restaurants around all the multiple areas we visited. It was always good to have an insiders' point of view. Thank you!"

"As always, the home was immaculate, had everything we needed to get started and then some. This was our third time renting this home and we will definitely rent again. "
Awaa Place At Kamuela Heights 4 Bedroom Home by RedAwning
8/10 Good
"I don’t recall the description of the house saying it was a two story home with two bedrooms in the main house and two beds were in a separate entrance downstairs in t back of the garage. I on had an 88 year Uncle, 82 year old mother, 81 year old aunt and my sisters and I were 60,62 and 64. Not the ideal house for older people. Also, might not be the best neighborhood for a rental unite and the woman across the driveway in the two story green house was very rude. I have lived on this island all of my life and it upsets me when I pay a lot of money for a vacation rental and get treated badly by others who I believe is not even from the Big Island. "
"Spent 4 nights as a family of 4 during our spring break in March. Nice to have room to spreadout (teens each had a room and parents had the ohana room). We appreciated the games/reading material and a fully stocked kitchen (complete with spices to use!) Especially happy with the cooler weather (in 50s each morning and night) and the pheasants/turkey/peacocks that visited the yard. Beautiful view, very calming and quiet neighborhood. The hill provides quite the morning workout!"
"The house was a good size for our family. Quite neighbors and windows open with birds chirping was nice. Nice patio, could use a bbq grill. Had some issues with the dishwasher but the management was responsive. Waimea is pe was plenty to do"
Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Home in Beautiful Location!
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was as indicated in listing but being there was even better. Amazing location amazing property original FLW furnishings but complimented with the luxury an original FLW home lacked. The master bedroom and bath were roomy and dreamy. The whole house is tastefully appointed. Room for each of the four of us to spread out and be comfortable. We went in mid December and temperatures were perfect. Of our five days there, we loved touring the island and a successful whale watching trip but agreed our favorite days and nights were just laying around the house and star gazing under the dark skies. Just minutes from Waimea where we found excellent dining and friendly locals. A tropical paradise fit for a king and/queen. Mahalo! #bucketlist"
