Centrally Located

We stayed for the easy access to the Maui Oceanfront half marathon start line.The harbor for whale watch and snorkel excursions is just a short walk with shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from this 2nd floor unit, whale spouts! *Be aware no central AC, just window unit in living room. 2nd floor end unit, we saw whale spouts!

Great Place to Stay!

This was a great condo. Very centrally located and its stocked with everything that you need for a great Hawaiian vacation. Gail was fabulous with her information. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay

The property was amazing, we had the best time, everything we could possibly need or wanted in a rental was provided, from all the beach gear to all the wonderful amenities. The property was well located close to beaches with easy water access, wonderful restaurants, short drives to popular destinations on the island, thx Grant from California

Quiet and great views

Our stay was exactly what the listing indicated. We watched several whales (mother and calves) frolic in the bay from the balcony. If you are looking for a quiet and community like setting, this is your spot.

Maalaea Banyans Stay

We had a lovely time in this charmingly decorated apartment. Everything we needed was there. The view was spectacular, and we enjoyed the conscience of the nearby harbor. Wonderful hosts!

Terrific spot!

Quiet, great pool and spa area, constant whale-watching from the balcony...what more would you want? Location is perfect for those who want to take cruises, and it's just a short drive to Kihei where you can find tons of great places to eat. Wonderful communication from the owner. Thanks for a great first trip to Maui!

Just perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect for us and our schedule of activities. It was clean, well thought out and had everything we needed. The patio was delightful to just sit on and watch the ocean. Every morning, we would sit and enjoy our breakfast there. Host communication was great. Check-in was easy. Great View

Very clean, well equipped, quiet accommodation. Close to an excellent walking beach. The unit has everything one enjoys on a holiday including a yoga mat.😉 A most comfortable bed. Amazing view. Easy access to all parts of Maui by car. Great communication with host. Highly recommended.

Beautiful View!

We enjoyed our one week stay at the Banyans. The condo was exactly as listed. Full equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Communication with Gail was great with quick responses to questions. Morning coffees, Happy Hour and dinner on the deck were great with the view. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed our stay

Truly close to everything. We traveled most of the island during our week stay. This condo is centrally located and allowed short or not as long drives to our destinations around Maui. The host was very easy to contact and work with on any questions we had. The trade winds were in full force, so a towel next to the front door helped with the howling noise. The beach is a half mile from the condo and walkable. Snorkeling at Haycraft Beach (nearest beach) is great to get reacquainted and then head to your better spots on Maui.

Comfortable, quiet condo with amazing views!!

Loved this condo. Cozy and quiet. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice curtains to keep the morning heat out. A/c worked well. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Enough closet space and drawers so you can put your clothes away and not live out of your suitcase. TV is a nice size. The ocean view is amazing. The owner was very responsive to any issues. The on-site property manager, Tom, is terrific. Hope to stay here again soon!!

Beautiful Oceanview!

We enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to a nice sand beach (sugar beach). We were honored to swim with many turtles there. Gail was very helpful and always responded to any questions I had. Would recommend going to the aquarium (ocean center) that was close by. Thank you for having a cooler, beach chairs, and an umbrella at the condo. They came in handy. Had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant in the shopping center near the aquarium.

Perfect view and can't beat the location!

My husband and I stayed at Gail's lovely condo last week for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we loved every minute! The grounds are beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling down by the pool several nights. This condo is fully stocked with everything anyone could possibly need and has a modern and clean vibe. The location was great for us because it was quiet in Maalaea, but we could get to almost anywhere we wanted to go in 20-30 minutes. Lastly, walking the beach to Kihei in the morning was a highlight for us. So peaceful and beautiful!

Maalaea Revisited

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The first three days were very windy but the sheltered deck served just fine. The condo is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly want. We did not have use of the washing machine while we were there but Gail was working with the repairmen and got it solved the day before our departure. The view was great from the deck and turtles and whales were daily observations. We really enjoyed the new barbecue set up. In summary we really enjoyed our stay and recommend it without reservation.

Ocean View Condo in Maui

The condo was clean and as advertised. The view from the lanai was amazing. We spent mornings and evenings there. Don’t be afraid of the air conditioner being on a timer. Maui conserves electricity and this is a way to do it. You can turn it back on anytime. We left the screened windows and screened patio door open and it was nice and cool overnight. Shower was good! Bed was comfy. Would recommend!

Perfect for a few day stay!

My husband and I stayed for the second half of our honeymoon. The condo was super clean, the host was quickly responsive, and it was a great stay! It was the perfect size and had everything we needed for a couple days. A little small for a long stay, but was perfect for us! The thing that got me the most was the turtles that beached at night, but also how much we could watch them during the day eating off the rocks along the condo shore! Highlight of our trip was watching them come up for sleep. There wasn’t much beachfront if you’re a beach person BUT Sugar Beach was a block down the road. It’s the end of the beach so it was super quiet with not a ton of people around, and more turtle watching. The only thing I’d caution is the wind sounded like it created a wind tunnel so there was noise at night time. It doesn’t bother me much or my husband, but a heads up to light sleepers. Overall for us, it was perfect!

Simply Perfect!!!!

This beautiful condo has the most extraordinary view of the ocean from the living room and balcony - we watched whales EVERY DAY ALL DAY!!! And the turtles came right onto the beach every evening. Surreal!! The condo was PERFECT and immaculate. It is stocked with everything you need to live there. The description was not lying about the breeze. We never needed the air conditioning. The next time we go to Maui I'll plan ahead far enough to get this same condo. Our friends had a nice place but nothing like this one. It is updated, bright, comfortable and so very clean. (It's worth mentioning twice how clean this place is. I'm really picky and found it to be perfect. The location is awesome too - a couple of great restaurants are within walking distance as are nice shops, a pub, ice cream, and a long beautiful un-crowded beach. Angela was so very helpful as we got ready to travel. If I could I'd give this place 10 stars!!

Alone time

This was just so perfect. I needed some alone time to grieve. This was wonderful. Walked the beach. Sunbathing with turtles. Spread my sons ashes to swim with the turtles. So surreal. Thank you

A Happy Anniversary Trip!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary on this trip and loved every minute of our stay. Gail was so helpful and attentive as our host and the property itself is so well cared for - we loved it. The view from the lanai is incredible and the turtle watching is excellent. The condo is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the condo and the short walk to the each, which was amazing. Thank you! We'll be back!

Awesome Ocean View from the Lanai

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We found that the unit may need a bit of a refresh. Screens on the some of the windows and the patio door were separated from the frames. Some louvers on the windows were difficult to open. We brought this to the attention of the owner and they explained that the issues would be addressed. Cross ventilation worked so well that we didn’t need to use the air conditioner. Great location for easy access to any area on Maui. Older but very clean building. Great pool, hot tub and bbq area. And walkable to an amazing beach.
