The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is buffet style unless there are too few guests in which case you get menus. It's old fashioned style hotel and it does show its age in the rooms. Rooms are generally clean although the carpet could use a good cleaning. I'm trying not to be too critical. The hotel is in a perfect location near the beach and the Lotte Mart supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk away. I would stay here again.

Staff was very nice and attentive the room was very clean was a plus we got an ocean view the breakfast there was so many choices and multiple options of drinks as well the room also was very spacious which we appreciated

Hotel smell and dirty. I requested to change the room because it smell very bad. They moved me to another room, but it still smell. Old carpet causes the smell. Breakfast is very bad. Don't cook well, not too many selection. Staff are nice. It is an old hotel that need to update & remodel.

The hotels in Ving Tau are really affordable and one can not be too picky. In any case book yourself a sea view as otherwise the brown , outdated furniture could be a bit depressing. The at the hotel looks a bit doggy. Also the pool at the photos looks much nicer. In Vietnam they tend to filter photos a lot :)

Staff were awesome, room was a good size, only complaint is that I had an upgrade on arrive, to a room where the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the view was awful over looking a derelict waste area between the building across from the hotel and our location - I wouldn’t have wanted to see the real state of the room I originally booked

Hotel has dated decor but I think that's the way they designed the hotel. They wanted the hotel to look like an old classic hotel. Our room was nice, my only issue was the bathroom door wood sill was worn a bit and falling apart. The staff are excellent and helpful.

A relaxing holiday

We recommend, the hotel is located near the beach and in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Phat, the doorman, is always ready to help if we needed it. The breakfast was appropriately local and tasty.

Hotel room needs to have a big, long standing mirror for guests to look at their whole body. The bathtub wall is too high making it difficult and not safe to get in and out of the tub.

The room is tidy, clean and spacious. Bedding is super soft, we had a wonderful night. The swimming pool is clean and nice; but the water is a bit cold for children Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Our family will come back in the future. The restaurant should prepare some babychairs for kids under 2 years.

Great stay

We originally booked only 2 nights at the Cap hotel but extended our stay up to 8 nights in total. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel and personnel. Doorman Mr. Phat and Mr Thong in reception took good care of us. Breakfast buffet was great and rooms were clean. Only issue we had was with the humidity in our room. If you have any diet requirements and don't speak Vietnamese be careful at the hotel restaurant. The spa in the hotel was decent but a little overpriced.

This property has so much potential. I can’t say enough about the staff. They are wonderful. But, you really need to see the property to understand how backwards everything seems. It’s as though someone decided to build a hotel with absolutely no plans! I believe there are 2 towers (A and B) and another smaller building. None are connected via a well thought out passage way. Instead we were taken through a single glass door to a terrace and walked around building A to a path which eventually led to building B. Very strange layout. We had a 2 bedroom room. There were the makings of a full kitchen yet the only real kitchen equipment was a refrigerator and a sink. The sink had a faucet which looked like a contractor assembled with spare parts. Now for the bathrooms. The main bathroom had a tub with a shower wand. No door or curtain. You just spray all over the toilet and floor. The 2nd bathroom had a nice stand alone shower with no place to set your soaps/shampoo except the floor. I can go on and on with all of the quirks. If you’re ok with them, this is your place. Again, the staff were exceptional!

80-tallet på nytt

Dette er 80 tallets stil. Og de gjør helt ok. Det konseptet burde dyrkes for alt det er verdt, men her blir det litt ufrivillig; slik ble det opplevelse. Store gode rom, men litt pussig belysning. Gode senger, veldig rent og ordentlig. Stort og trivelig bad, dusj og sanitær er aldeles utmerket. Tepper på gulvet trekker opp, det er hygge. Frokosten er helt ok, ikke mer. Men meget hyggelig og oppmerksomt personale, dette gjelder hele hotellet. Bassenget og det området er stusselige greier, det er kun sol der i 2 timer pr dag, og dessuten veldig veldig lite.
