「This is the loveliest small beautiful hotel run by a delightful hotelier. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a good size and open at sensible times. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire.」

Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley.
