Our family had an amazing time staying at The Colony. The view from our unit was absolutely beautiful — right on the boardwalk with the ocean just steps away. The unit was spotless and comfortable, and the area felt safe and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved how close we were to restaurants, shops, and everything the beach has to offer. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Virginia Beach.

Virginia Beach Vacation

My whole family was very impressed with our stay at this location in Virginia Beach. The rooms were very spacious, and everything was accurately described by the Host. We couldn’t have asked for a better condo to vacation in. Thank you for making this such a great place to stay!

Great Location

The condo was a perfect location for the beach, walking to stores and resturaunts. Our kids loved the pool. The condo needed some work, bathtubs were peeling and wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom too. The condo had everything we needed for the kitchen and plenty of towels and linens. The property manager, Jessica, wasn’t pleasant to work with when I had questions before our arrival or regarding receiving the rental agreement. Overall, we had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay.

Just Might Be Back Next Year!

Awesome 2 bedroom condos right on the ocean. Can't ask for more. Really spacious and the view is amazing. I spoke with the property manager, Jessica, on the phone a couple of times beforehand and she was great to work with.

Close to the ocean

Close to the ocean and a great spot for kids. The actual rooms are old though. The showers, washer/dryer and things like that are old. Also the A/C didn’t work very well. Just overall OK.

Our overall stay was very good. Check in was very easy and front desk was very nice and helpful. location is very good and you have access to pretty much everything. Rooms and bathrooms very good and clean. Staff was very pleasant. Only one thing was that we found dead roaches in the kitchen on our first day and some scattered through out the week. we did speak to front desk and they dud send soneone to look at it. They said they recently did treatment for roaches and thats why they are coming out. Other than that it was very good stay.

This is a timeshare condo building with assigned but not gated parking, nighttime security, limited lobby staff assistance available (1 person at end and beginning of week), small but well maintained ocean- facing pool with sun deck and grillng areas, and private (condo use only) outdoor shower area.Unit was clean and very well maintained with newer appliances and a neutral beach decor. Lots of closet and drawer space in bathrooms and bedrooms. The unit runs straight through the building with an oceanfront balcony and one oceanfront bedroom. The second bedroom faces the street and it should be noted that Friday and Saturday night there is a very loud music show with lights that performs on the stage across from the building and is able to be seen and heard from the unit. (This could be good or bad depending on the guest.) We brought sound machines and the curtains provide good blackout, so it was fine. The kitchen also has a street view where you can also see a bit of the inlet. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and serving items and sheets and minimal towels (1 per person each item) are provided. Washer and dryer were full size. We liked the location and the condo. We would stay here again. Areas for improvement: There is a group of homeless who store their belong in the bushes adjacent to the property. They slept there many nights we were there but just moved around (behind ac unit, next to tree, etc). Also only sheets laundered at end of stay, not al bedding.

Wow! Perfect Location

This condo (801) was better than expected. Spacious and clean. We enjoyed being at a less busy area of the beach. While there were plenty of beach goers there was always room to find a good spot without getting out there early. The complex is not too large so even with only one of two elevators working the wait wasn’t too bad. The parking is very tight. If you’re driving bigger than a compact car expect to work into your spot. The staff (front desk, cleaning crew and security guards) were all very friendly and helpful. The complex is on the edge of the row of shops allowing for easy access to shops and restaurants. This is handy considering parking is at a premium and almost always costs. Our stay was during the 4th of July and being on the 8th floor was perfect for watching the fireworks off the barge. The truly only concern, not complaint, is the check-in process. The staff is not allowed to give out any keys until check-in time. This makes for a bottleneck during that time. Again, this is not a large complex so it wasn’t horrible just a bit frustrating. It does help to arrive a bit early to fill out paperwork ahead of time. Then it is as simple as handing you a key. Highly recommend this complex and rental company. Thank you for hosting a great week!
