Belles vacances en Virginie

Très bien situé, à 3 minutes à pieds de la plage et du boardwalk. Près de tous les services, épicerie, restaurant. Avec un stationnement directement à côté de la maison. La cour extérieure est très bien avec la piscine, table avec parasol pour manger, très propre avec le pavé. La maison était charmante, beau look rénové, il manquait quelques commodités au niveau de la cuisine, mais on a pu se débrouiller. Je conseille d'apporter serviette/débarbouillette/linge à vaisselle/guénilles/draps ainsi que papier toilette/essuie-tout. Au niveau du ménage ça aurait pu être un mieux et fait plus minutieusement. Le seul bémol était le divan qui serait du pour un bon nettoyage, beaucoup de taches et le divan lit n'était pas très bien nettoyé quand on l'a ouvert ainsi que des draps tachés. Nous sommes très satisfaits dans l'ensemble de notre séjour et le recommandons. Lorsque nous avons du contacter la personne responsable lors de notre séjour pour des demandes nous avons eu une réponse très rapide. Merci pour tout

Peeling Leaded Paint and electrical hazards are not Charming

A nightmare rental. Peeling lead paint on the front door, missing outlet covers, cracked windows, malfunctioning AC, rotting floor boards, doors that don't latch, Cockroaches, windows that don't latch. The property is hazardous and totally unacceptable. The street the rental is on matches, filled with rotting garbage and broken glass. Of course the couch and pull out bed are horribly stained, and the smell of mildew and Marijuana permiates the property. My family and I had to vacate and get a hotel so that we could enjoy our only vacation this year.

Surprised

As soon as We walked in. We opened the door and there was a slight hole in the floor. Power went out at 10:30pm and did not return until late the next day. Due to Hurricane Ian. The property was a bit run down and the pool and grounds were unkept. Our outdoor deck furniture was old and could not sit on them. The entry coded door to enter property did not latch closed. The wood was warped. No Lights at entry gate. Very dark and for four days it rained causing two inches of standing water to enter property. No toilet paper holder. Parking is a bit tricky. However. Good value for money and location is great. Close to everything

The property was dirty. The A/C units were dirty with fungus and the couch was stained all over. The management company did not help at all.

Overall, this one bedroom cottage grew on us. At first, it was difficult to find at night and although the owner said to call any time, midnight seemed like a bad time to call for an SOS. We eventually found it and got in to the property fine with the instructions sent to us previously. We did find that housekeeping overlooked a dirty coffee pot and an old stale bagel in the oven. I called the owner to tell them about the situation and to request more pillows and linens as well. When housekeeping arrived they apologized. The residence was very quiet, which was surprising because all the other homes were so close in proximity. We were pleasantly surprised. It was so hot outside that we ended up spending a lot of time in this air conditioned unit.

Small but cozy

We enjoyed the house and the pool! The A unit is upstairs and feels secluded. The parking is tight but manageable. The walk to the ocean is easy, even with a six year old with sand everywhere! We would recommend this location to others. The only thing I wish it had was an outdoor shower or hose to rinse off with.
