We'd like to take the opportunity of offering you a very warm welcome to Podere Zollaio, which is situated in the Tuscan landscape of Leonardo da Vinci.We offer comfortable self catering accommodation for couples and families wishing to sample the tranquility, clean air, history and culinary delights of this region of Tuscany.
All accommodation is decorated to a high standard and offers a high level of comfort.We are well placed for direct access from Pisa and Florence airports and also within easy access of Siena,Lucca,Pistoia and San Gimignano.We produce our own organic olive oil and wine and on your arrival you will be supplied with complimentary bottles of our wines and a server of our olive oil for you to try.
We offer accommodation and a welcome at a price that others find it hard to compete with.

Het hart van Toscane

Vinci ligt centraal in Toscane waardoor alle highlights goed te bereizen zijn. Ook het dorp Vinci zelf is erg gezellig en heeft meerdere goede restaurants en winkeltjes. In dd omgeving zijn goede wandelmogelijkheden, wijnproeverijen en leuke dorpjes om te bekijken.Het apartement is netjes en compleet ingericht.De eigenaar communiceerd goed en duidelijk en is erg behulpzaam. Heerlijke plek met als extraatje voor warme dagen een zwembad met terras. Toplocatie!

Very friendly environment

Fantastic and very hospitable!!!

We had such an amazing time during our stay in Vinci. Our hosts were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help us. Our accommodation was perfect for what we needed, as we were travelling around Tuscany in search of wedding venues, so we used Vinci as our base. Such a fantastic time, thank you so much!! Bel endroit bien situé pour visiter la Toscane

La Mansarda est un très joli petit appartement avec une vue magnifique sur le village de Vinci. L'endroit est agréable, parmi les oliviers et à proximité du village, et les propriétaires sont charmants et très attentionnés. La situation géographique permet de visiter les principales ville touristiques de Toscane sans faire trop de kilomètres en voiture et la gare d'Empoli, située à proximité, permet d'aller à Florence en moins d'une demi heure, ce qui évite les problèmes de stationnement. Une seule petite remarque, qui ne nous a pas génés mais qu'il vaut mieux connaître si on voyage avec des personnes agées ou ayant des difficultés à se déplacer, on accède à l'appartement par un escalier en colimaçon relativement haut et étroit. Ceci dit, les autres appartements sont plus accessibles et certainement aussi propres et confortables. Un endroit à recommander où nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour un séjour plus long.

Abbiamo trascorso una settima magnifica

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub an einem erholsamen Ort verbracht. Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir herzlich von Signora Lisa – und einigen Katzen – empfangen. Unser Appartment war bestens ausgestattet, liebevoll eingerichtet und hatte außerdem eine wunderschöne Panoramasicht über Vinci und die Hügel der Toskana. Für Ausflüge nach z.B. San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Lucca ist die Lage von Vinci sehr gut; insbesondere kann man Florenz mit dem Zug in einer halben Stunde erreichen. Ein Auto ist allerdings schon notwendig. Wer es ruhiger mag und nicht jeden Tag auf Besichtigungstour gehen will, kann alternativ am sehr schönen Pool entspannen und die Sonne genießen. Wir haben unsere 10 Tage im Podere Zollaio sehr genossen und werden bestimmt bald wiederkommen. Liebe Grüße Karin und Christoph

Well appointed apartment balcony & pool ideal

The apartment was recommended by friends and we were not disappointed. With a balcony that looked over the rolling hills and small town of Vinci, a quiet pool to come home to after a days adventures and the option to cook, it was just what we required. The apartment was large, the air conditioning was quiet and cool. The kitchen was well appointed. Lisa, Chiara and Ian were very hospitable and helpful but at the same time gave us plenty of privacy to do our own thing. We caught the train to most cities from Empoli (plenty of parking at the railway station) which worked out well for us, it was cost effective and more relaxing than driving. The town of Vinci is small but has a few excellent resturants and was good for a little wander. We found the location very good, easy to find and not far to get onto most main routes. As a couple, with a car and a desire to both explore the cities of Tuscany and to also chill out and wander, this was an ideal location and villa for us. It was good value for money and we would not hesitate to recommend it - in fact we already have!
