"We were very impressed when we arrived with how clean the property was. It was immaculate! The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. To the extent of purchasing an ice cream birthday cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday and helping us fix our broken wheels on our pushchair and ordering us pizza to be delivered. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"Set 5 minutes from the sea, this is a comfortable villa with large pool that isn't overlooked. The area around is the villa is agricultural with sheep next door, and Italian holiday homes that are mainly used in July and August. It's a great base to explore the history, culture and cuisine of the Ragusa region. We were greeted by the owners son, who was a fantastic host who was in WhatsApp to answer any questions."

"We’ve been spending 6 days in the villa . Children called the best holiday ever . House and the outside area are wonderful, especially pool . We managed to relax ,spend time together .
