Cozy Creekside Cabin in Santa Cruz Mountains

Great little place in nature!

"Easy access. Beautiful forest setting and creek access. Cozy little cabins have all u really need. 2 person hot tub was ready to go and enjoyable. Could use open/close able blackout shades over skylights so can sleep in a little longer. Otherwise really nice and easy 10min drive into soquel/Capitola village. Would return in a minute if wanting forest vs beach setting. Bonus is it’s out of the coastal fog bank. "

Campsite #8A with Hot Water Shower Enchanted Forest Retreat

"The directions to the location were accurate. As we drove down the steep and narrow paved road toward the campsite, it was a little difficult to navigate in a wider car. When we arrived at what was the campsite area, it wasn't very clear trying to find our site (8A). Furthermore, once we did find it, other campers were as confused or more confused than we were about the boundaries of the campsites. The bathrooms were functional, and I could use the sink to wash dishes, but the showers were not used by any of us because they were funky. Next time, I may take more time to find a suitable campsite without paying this much for just an okay camping experience."

A very honest review

"This is a very honest review. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is clean and remodeled with modern conveniences. It is a peaceful and serene place.The road to this cabin, which the owner tells you upfront is absolutely horrible. It is a 1 lane road that has hairpin turns, holes and will make you question your sanity of choosing this cabin. However, due to this road we chose to stay at the cabin and enjoy its tranquility instead of venturing out to explore. Also, this is not really a 4 bedroom cabin. Its really a 3 bedroom with an extra bed in a gameroom that people have to use as a go thru to the 3rd bedroom. Once again, something the owner tells you about if you read the description which we didn't totally understand. All in all if you would like to have a little peace and quiet to reconnect with the people you love and dont mind a little bit of a remote, off the beaten path cabin then this is the place for you. "

"Very clean and cozy place. Plenty of space for big families. Internet was down but the property manager was great and kept us in the loop. Great place to get away and off the grid, which was nice to see the kids playing outside and making genuine connections:) "

Campsite #11 Enchanted Forest Redwood Mountain Retreat

"We enjoyed how most camping spots offered a good amount of privacy. I would recommend arriving in daylight. We arrived just after sunset and it was difficult to navigate in the dark having never been there before. It was a shame we couldn't have a fire, but the hike on the property was lovely. "

Camp Site Large Group with Hot Water Shower in Redwood Forest Retreat

"We stayed in the group camp site. The site itself was amazing! It was nice and wide open with a lot of room. The sites were spaced out nicely and seemed private. The drive in was rough. It was nice it was paved, but it is very bumpy with potholes and only 1 lane so be careful around corners. Bathrooms were a short hike up the hill. The only issue I had was the bathrooms. Nobody came to clean up the trash and refill toilet paper/paper towels. All bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels for a day and a half. We even messaged the host and she said she was sending someone but it was still out in the morning up until we left at 11. Make sure to bring your own toilet paper just in case. All in all, for what you got, it was expensive and I don’t think we would stay here again. It was a good 20 min very windy drive to a store. I prefer state parks. "
