Koemakkoeniemi - Your vacation villa right on the lake with sauna and hot tub

On the peaceful shores of Lake Saarinen in Northern Savo, we rent out our Kömmäkköniemi vacation villa.

Kömmäkköniemi is a stylish, very cozy, two-story building made of solid log with a large terrace. Lake Saarinen is teeming with fish, and the vacation home is equipped with a rowboat, fish traps, and fishing rods. Excellent berry-picking (blueberries, raspberries) and mushroom-hunting areas are located in the immediate vicinity. The main building has electricity. You can drive right up to the property.

The villa features a spacious living room with a large soapstone stove, TV, Wi-Fi, and a pull-out sofa bed.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric and wood-burning stove, cold drinking water straight from the spring, a refrigerator, and all necessary dishes and cutlery. There is also a large dining table with chairs.

Upstairs, there is a bedroom with beds measuring 160 cm, 120 cm, and 80 cm. All pillows, blankets, and woolen blankets are provided there. Additionally, there are mattresses for sleeping on the floor. A spacious balcony offers a magnificent view directly of the lake.

Under the same roof is the sauna with a wood-fired sauna stove. Cold drinking water comes from the faucet in the washroom. There is no shower; instead, there is traditional sauna equipment, including a tub, buckets, bowls, and a ladle.

The large terrace features a dining set with a parasol and a gas grill.

A separate summer cabin contains two bedrooms (2 x 80 cm, 160 cm). If needed, electricity can be supplied there via an extension cord.

On the beach, there is a cozy barbecue hut (kota), as well as a fire and barbecue pit and a hot tub.
The yard is flat and safe; the swimming area is shallow and sandy. There is a badminton/volleyball court in the garden. A small playhouse (used as a tool shed) contains toys for children and adults.

The woodshed contains dry firewood; a standard amount of wood is included in the price. There is a traditional outhouse in a separate building.
At the top of the hill, there is also a spacious earthen cellar for storing food and beverages.

Families with children and pets are very welcome!

The nearest neighbor is about one kilometer away. The nearest town is Vieremä (12 km). Iisalmi is 30 km away. Kuopio Airport is about a 1.5-hour drive away, and Kajaani is about an hour’s drive away. Talaskangas Nature Park, with its beautiful hiking trails and ski slopes, shelters, and campfire sites, is only about 20 km away.

Kömmäkköniemi is an ideal place for couples looking to enjoy a romantic getaway, as well as for larger groups looking to celebrate.
