Experience Vieques with a local vibe!

This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, dining and living area house will be your hub while making the most of your visit. Enjoy the backyard with a covered terrace, outside sitting area, grill, games, screened gazebo, outside shower, a beautiful mural from a local artist and soon- a small pool! We highly recommend this property for 6 guests (adults, young ones, or kids). We have a high quality full-size futon , perfect for 2 kids, young people, and small adults.

A 4-minute walk will have you at Esperanza Beach. Enjoy the walk by el Malecón, some snorkeling by the old pier, restaurants, bars and gift shops. Most bio bay tour companies do the pick up at this location.

It's recommended to rent a car, so you can move freely between the terminal, the house and all there is to explore in Vieques. If you are interested, we have a partnership with AquiCoqui Rental for a Ford Bronco. Details available upon request.

IMPORTANT NOTE: we just noticed that VRBO AI added the property as a Water Front Property with Ocean Views, THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. VRBO/Expedia are working on it. The location is the right one, but in front of the property we have a laggon and is not visible. It is covered by mangroves.

Traveling to Vieques:
FERRY: Ferry leaves from Ceiba. You can buy the tickets online. The page is Puerto Rico Ferry. Buy it in advance!
PLANE: Search to VQS from SJU or SIG

Check in starts at 3PM. Checkout is at 11AM or before.
We don't allow early check-in or late checkouts, nor personal belongings before of after. This because we are one of the few properties that allows one-night reservations. Our cleaners need time to prepare the property between reservations.

Note: Hot water, only in the shower.

Steps from the beach

This little bungalow was perfect for our family for a one day excursion from the mainland. Steps away from the beach and one minute from the bio bay tours. Do not miss one of those. Absolutely magical night.

If you are going to do the bio bay tour it is the perfect location. Walkable to tour pickups, grocery stores and restaurants. Very island vibe.

Amazing location and deal

Robert was a wonderful host with a well appointed home in a location just steps from the beach, Esperanza and Bio Bay pick up. We especially loved the back yard for chilling out. He was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Easy convenient stay

The property is a Puerto Rican style home. Very clean with everything one could need. It is in a great location. It is not luxury or anything but adequately appointed, safe, and easy. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great stay for bio bay

Our family of 5 stayed for 1 night so we could go to the bioluminescent bay. The house was clean and walking distance to restaurants and the meeting point for the bay We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay in paradise

Cute house with perfect location

Our family enjoyed staying in Esperanza while visiting the beaches and bio bay. This house was the perfect location, we easily walked to our bio bay tour and downtown for dinner. The house had everything we needed and had a cozy little island vibe we loved.

Great Location

Fabulous location within walking distance to local restaurants, a small grocery store, and all the bio bay tour companies, but on a quiet residential street. Very comfortable, perfect kids bedroom with bunk beds and all the amenities.

Almost everything about this stay was great. Property, location, amenities. The only draw back was the property lists a hot tub, but it wasn't operating when we visited, so if it's not operable, would recommend taking it off the list of amenities.

Adequate and pleasant to stay in

The overall property was very nice. Everything was organized, and there was everything we needed from beach supplies to family games. A tip though, neighbors did blare music in the morning and the chickens are very loud. Overall a pleasant stay and was glad for the close proximity to all activities.

Everything was exactly as described. We were greated with a personalized welcome sign. Enjoyed fresh mangos, visits from the neighborhood horses and even a large iguana! All the beaches we went to were very close and magnificent!! Definitely would love to come back!!!

We had a wonderful stay, the only glitch was Vrbo's fault for listing a different property owners phone number than the actual owner so checking in was initially confusing. Once we got it all straight, it was super easy and beautiful! Wish we had more time

Perfect vieques getaway

The location of the property was perfect. Walk to town for swimming, coffee, dinner. Short drive to playa Caracas which was like a mini playa flamenco. Horses and chickens abound. The kids loved hanging out with them. There was even a cow meandering downtown the morning we left. Highly recommend this trip.

Perfect Esperanza Rental for Bio Bay!

We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) traveling to Vieques to see the world famous Bio Bay. This is one of the only properties on the island that allows for single night stays. The rental exceeded our expectations! It was incredibly convenient- walking distance to our meeting spot for bio bay tours and also minutes walk to all the delicious waterfront restaurants and bars. Excellent communication with owners/hosts. Everything was immaculately clean. I would highly recommend staying here!

Convenient location very nice set up

We only stayed 1 night for a Bioluminescence tour. But the fenced in large yard was awesome, especially for a larger family staying longer that would want to take in the outdoors.The house had plenty of space, nice kitchen, bathroom, and living room set ups.Beds are a little hard for my personal preference, but everything is very nice and clean. Super safe neighborhood, close. We used a golf cart and still only about a 15 minute drive to ferry. Only like a 7 minute drive to nearby town restaurants and bars and beach view.Very cool space!!! Would definitely stay again.

Beach vibes!

The photos and description online didn’t quite do justice to how lovely the place was! The amenities of the home were excellent. Even with the significant heat we were cool with the air conditioning. Appreciated the smart tv and solid Wi-Fi. There was so many delicious mangoes to eat too! The location was perfect- easy to get to the malacon. Would definitely return!
