The twin room at SP hotel leaves much to be desired in terms of size, comfort and tranquility. With an uncomfortable bed and the loud noise coming from the water tank on the 5th floor I could scarcely sleep; trying to sleep in room 502 is analogous to struggling to sleep on a plane. Besides, the down-at-heel door created dreadful noise while closing. Be warned that this is a 5-story hotel with no lift so those with a heavy and bulky luggage will have a hard time carrying it to the fourth or fifth floor.
As for staff, most, if not all, are affable and accommodating. There is a free breakfast at the hotel comprising bread, cereal, fried rice, fried noodles, fried and scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, orange juice, bananas etc. Most major tourist attractions are within walking distance except Buddha Park which is 25 or so kilometers from the hotel.
