"Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist."

"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"Our stay in Vitiana, was magical. Laura was a very responsive host and even had a few basic groceries in the house for us when we arrived. House was cool and the nights were quiet. It was perfect that we were able to park two cars at the house. If your looking to stay in Vitiana, don’t hesitate."

"Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages. Only complaint is that the towels are not adult body sized for drying off after the shower so advise you to take own bath towels. Ideal...

"We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week here! The location and surroundings more than live up to the description, the views are stunning. The pool was a major highlight for our boys, as was meeting the horses, and Sarita & Mauro were perfect hosts, always contactable for questions on anything. Nature is all around and there are also plenty of nice towns to visit by car not too far away. We’re already talking about if we can come back next year!"

"We had a really fantastic experience at La Ninfa hotel. From check in until check out Alessandro and all his staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had a room with a perfect view of the river. The breakfast is delicious with a lovely selection of food. The restaurant is a must to try for dinner - top class quality food beautifully presented. The thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel - thank you!"

"A really lovely place to stay. Lots of room, incredible vista from the seating area just outside the house and from the pool. The pool is cool even in hot weather. The owners are very helpful and made our stay easy. We would definitely go again."

"The home was charming, clean and host was wonderful! The views were amazing! The drive to get there was intense. If you’re uncomfortable with narrow, winding roads, this property is not recommended. We would have loved this property as an authentic Tuscan experience. If you want to immerse yourself in the everyday country culture this is the place! Unfortunately, due to multiple airline delays we were 3 days behind in travel plans so decided it made more sense for us to avoid the 1.5 hour drive return from a Florence day trip so left a day early. This was no fault of host or property, just unfortunate logistics. "
