Welcome to your peaceful home in the heart of Colwood! This bright, private 2-bedroom garden suite offers comfort, convenience, and a touch of west coast charm. Nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood just a few minutes drive from the ocean, nature trails, and Royal Roads University, it’s the perfect home base for work trips, small families, or couples exploring the South Island.

Two cozy bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other with a twin bed – ideal for 2–3 guests. ** THIS WILL BE CHANGING JULY 4th, 2025 TO INCLUDE A DOUBLE BED IN THE NOW SINGLE ROOM. PHOTOS WILL BE UPDATED ON THE 4TH.

The suite is located on the lower level of a private home with respectful long-term residents upstairs, while residents are quiet some times transfer of sound can be heard.

Yes the host left us some snacks and wine which was very nice. Only problem was the outside lights didn’t work when we got back there in the dark . Could have been a hazard in the dark like a tripping issue.

This is very terrible homes. It charged us extra 460 dollars just because we didn't clean rubbish bin. Moreover, it says that it can accommodate four people. However when we ask for extra a beddings, they didn't provide any all. I will never come here again.

Pleasant, comfortable well stocked suite. Host ensured we were comfortable and responded imediately to our concern regarding outdoor lighting. Gorgeous area and close to Royal Bay Bakery! Some noise transfer from tennants upstairs if that bothers you. We would definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful space to stay in! We didn't end up cooking but where was a kitchen and appliances if you wanted to cook. There was a super friendly black cat that greeted us when we first showed up.

Low supply or missing necessary items-no soap for bathroom sink, one garbage bag, minimal toilet paper. Got cold one evening. Heat consists of one space heater, and extra blankets, per our Host. Lower level unit, below ground level, would be quite chilly in winter. Tenant lives above, some noise. Quiet at night, though. Good parking, nice neighborhood. Would not stay again at that price point.

Nice self-contained unit that could easily sleep two couples, with comfortable beds, a roomy living room, very cute decor, lots of storage, and good kitchen facilities with lots of equipment that all worked perfectly. There is even a bidet (which we did not try). Providing a welcome basket of snacks was a nice touch. There were also teabags and a stocked Keurig coffeemaker. The neighborhood was quiet with easy street parking right in front.We knew the rest of the house was occupied by tenants, but we were surprised just how much noise we heard. Running water and equipment, voices, and sounds of cooking, kids running, and even playing fetch indoors with a dog that scrabbled across the floor, as if there were just a thin door separating our spaces. Maybe others won't be as sensitive to the noise as we were. And noise was not an issue in the bedrooms.The kitchen island allows knee space for just two people to sit at it on stools. We would have liked a small table and chairs - even folding ones - so that three of us could have eaten a meal together comfortably.The shower is an overhead rain shower. We could tell there was once a shower spray attachment too, but it was missing when we stayed, which makes showering difficult for anyone who does not want to get their hair wet. There were plenty of fluffy white towels.It's a very cute and comfortable place to stay and super clean. It was also easy to get from there to downtown Victoria, Butchart Gardens, and Hatley Castle.

Wonderful attention to detail

The property is everything it says in the listing and so much more! Fully updated suite in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes away from the scenic Ocean Boulevard (spit). We felt very welcome and would gladly come back.

A well appointed comfortable spot

Overall it was a satisfactory property. They obviously attempted to think of everything a group may need when visiting with some little surprise perks as well. Things like an ice bag, a reuseable grocery bag, several hygiene and first aid products. Could use another chair in the sitting area and maybe a small blind over the window in the door.

Quiet and comfortable

The unit is just as described. Comfy bed. Very quiet neighborhood, a bit off the beaten path. I don’t think you could walk to anything but close to everything in Langford by car. We were visiting my daughter so we didn’t do any cooking so can’t speak to the kitchen amenities.

Delightful brand new accommodations and sparkling clean. Loved the extras like an air fryer/toaster oven lovely bathroom and extremely comfortable beds. When I come back to Victoria, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Victoria

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. The apartment was very well stocked and we enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable. Parking in front of house. It is about a 20-minute drive to the harbor area of Victoria and 30-45 minute drive to Butchart Gardens. Don't miss the Gardens if you visit this area.

Victoria Visit

Our stay at this vacation home was overall pleasant with a few notable aspects. The house itself was clean and well-organized, which made settling in quite easy. The area was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. However, the beds were on the firmer side, which might not suit everyone's preferences for comfort. Additionally, the internet connection was somewhat unreliable, with spotty coverage at times. Overall a nice stay in Victoria !!

Great location, peaceful, well stocked, comfortable, suite.

This rental was close to the area where we had a number of appointments but we also found quite a number of great parks, National Historic Sites, and many beautiful hiking trails within close proximity, which was an additional draw This property has many tall trees, and flowering bushes/plants which was welcoming as well as being lovely and very quiet. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We also appreciated the curtains over the blinds, as it made the room darker for better sleep. Maybe add a curtain over the entry glass door window for privacy. .
