Wow! This stay was wonderful! From walking into for check-in was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. The room was nice size, very very clean. Bed soft and plenty towels. We felt safe and even that it’s close to a highway heard no traffic. Breakfast was available. Checkout was simple and super easy. If ever in the area needing a place to stay highly recommended this place!

Management was very friendly. Property is nice and very convenient to downtown, Goliad. It was very quiet inside my room even though there were quite a lot of people staying at the hotel this weekend. Internet was fast and tv worked, too! Hot water on demand.

This is an older motel, reasonably well kept. First, the positives: The room was clean, bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, bathtub stopper worked. Now the negatives: Upon checking in at 5:00 pm, there was a sign on the door that said "working outside". So I looked around outside and saw no one. I rang the buzzer on the counter, and after a good while, an elderly lady came from the back. She hardly spoke English at all, but I gathered that her daughter had gone somewhere and she would phone her. Then she disappeared to the back. So me and another customer waited approx ten minutes till the younger woman appeared. Finally I was able to check in. This was very aggravating, since we wanted to check in, then quickly head to a granddaughters graduation. The second problem was the big one. The room smelled very musty, like the carpet had been wet. We thought with the a/c turned on, the room would smell better when we returned hours later. Nope - still musty. Now we were too tired to complain, so we just tolerated it. If I had it to do over, I would have certainly requested a different room.

The reasonable price attracted me, but the quality of the room will bring me back again. The property is old, but the amenities are nice. The door locked securely, the bed has a nice soft-top mattress, the a/c cools well, the fridge works, the clock on the microwave was correct, and the tv has cable channels plus local stations and wi-fi. There's even a land-line phone! Enough parking, with lots of lighting, so that I could see my Bronce right outside the room. The lobby had breakfast cereal, fruit, milk and juice, and a waffle maker, but my schedule was too rushed to partake. I'll plan better next time.

The facility is old...clean and adequate. I just stayed overnight and had everything I needed. It was equal to the price of the room which was half of another facility in Goliad. Based on your point of view the rating can be deceiving. I would stay there again.
