「Friendly staff. Well maintained. Good breakfast and close to the Vicksburg Battlefield.」

「Extremely disappointing experience. The first room was filthy and unsanitary, and the second room we were moved to was just as bad. I have photos documenting the conditions of both rooms. We ultimately had to leave and continue driving because neither room was acceptable to stay in. To make matters worse, the employee asked us to put the sheets back so the rooms could be resold. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Please consider other accommodations.」

「Don’t miss the post breakfast tour, which is really interesting.」

「Staff was rude and place smelled like weed」

「The need a better restaurant or a better menu.」

「Cozy and clean! Great location. The staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!」

「The tour of the Duff mansion was exquisite & so were the accommodations!! Authentic furniture & furnishings of the 1800s. The gal tour guide went way beyond in details & historic retelling of stories; & our welcome was very warm with a wine mtg at the mansion. The breakfast was fancy & super good. We met wonderful guests from all over- even Europe. It was a very special experience to go back in time & relive the Civil War era. All the extras the owner provides is extraordinary!! This is a must...

「Great hotel quite, comfortable beds. Great location」

「Staff was friendly enough, but the overall condition of the property (many rooms under renovation) and the room itself (not very clean, very poor lighting) was very disappointing. Maybe it will improve after renovation, but appears that will not be accomplished in the near future.」

「We chose this location for the ease of its 1/2 way point to Orange Beach the next day We stayed in Kate’s room with a king bed which had ample parking right next to our room which made unloading and loading so easy. We were steps away from downtown Vicksburg for exploring and dining! Morning breakfast was!!! Fresh & Delicious So charming a place for a quick stop, priced well for such great accommodations friendly staff Amy, Tammy and Sam the owner!」
