"Great location. Extremely walkable and very close to the best bar in Dublin (the brazen head). Very clean! Only down side was the room was very small which made it difficult to settle in with our two suitcases. Loved our stay for 3 nights!"

"We stayed for five nights. One of the best front desk staffs we can remember working with. They were very responsive to our needs. Laundry facilities are top notch. Great when you have been travelling with kids for more than three weeks. Loved the wings. Having a small kitchenette in the room was nice. The hotel is centrally located on one end of Mary’s Street. There is great shopping nearby. The Spire is a ten minute walk. The Temple Bar area less than 15 minutes. Guiness about 30 minutes. You cannot go wrong staying here. Great value - tons of great options."

"Great room and location. My only complaint is that the double bed was very small. Used to hotels normally having a queen bed as standard, especially for a "superior" room. Would have been more comfortable with 2 twins."

"The BEST location in Dublin, all the good stuff to see & experience is nearby & walkable. Hotel is very classy, including the staff. Very comfortable stay. Good breakfast in the bar/restaurant. They also have a quick pop-in cafe on the corner that’s quite nice. We stayed 6 days, everything was perfect. Highly recommend the Mercantile!"
