It is an ideal midpoint between Cabo de Gata and the Tabernas desert, with excellent access to the whole province. Viator is a small town on the lower Andarax and a good place to be near Almeria capital at 6km without the burden of the city in summer, with easy access to Cabo de Gata and inland from the province through the highway. It is also ideal for family members of the military since it is the nearest town to the Alvarez de Sotomayor military camp. The building is surrounded by plots of olive trees, orange trees, and has views of the Sierra de Alhamilla. In the village you will find bakeries, coffee shops, pharmacies, banks, post office, doctor's office, Mercadona at 1 km, and much more. There is a direct access to both the A92 motorway and the Mediterranean highway, through which you can easily reach Retamar, Cabo de Gata, and the interior of the province to see Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarra. There is a public pool for a fee in the village. The village of Viator has a supermarket, a food market, some bars and a pizzeria. The center and the beaches of Almeria capital are 6kmkm.
