Whimsical Creekside Cabin

Escape to our cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Fall asleep to sounds of Little Mary’s Creek, enjoy your coffee on the wrap around deck, or delight in exploring your own 7 acres in the forest. Our cabin is a cheerful, clean cottage to come home to- or decide to spend your days on property splashing in the creek and sitting out by the fire pit.

The space
Our cozy cabin is a new build that celebrates our relationships and planting roots in Virginia.

It comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed on the main level and 2 single beds in the loft. We are happy to accommodate a 5th guest on a trundle bed in the loft for an additional fee. Please note that the loft is accessed by a mounted ladder with a safety railing, which may not be suitable for all guests.

The eat in kitchen is fully stocked to prepare all of your meals. We provide organic coffee and teas, sugar, creamer, olive oil, salt and pepper. The bathroom features EWG certified clean shampoo conditioner and local artisan soap.

Unplug, explore, read from a carefully curated selection of books, or play a number of favorite games. Turn on the tv upstairs or the portable DVD downstairs to enjoy a variety of movies.

Our cabin is on the side of the mountain with some steep terrain and lots of natural elements outside to discover. The creek is a fun place to splash and explore.

Cell phone service is very limited.

There is no Internet at this time.

Note that in all of the beauty and serenity of nature, there can be dangers. Please be aware of your surroundings- and remember that we share this amazing property with insects, plants, and animals that are native to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Great cabin, very clean and welcoming. Fantastic location next to a fast moving stream, great soundtrack to sleep by! The owners have obviously paid attention to detail on this place, couldn't ask for more!

Beautiful Location!

Everything was just perfect. Alicia provides for every amenity. Even coffee and creamers were provided. The location is beautiful; in a small hollow with a babbling brook you can see close by from the deck.Her recommendations for local attractions, wineries, and restaurants were very helpful.I would highly recommend the creek side cabin to anyone staying in the area.

Cabin was clean and decorated cute. The creek was so peaceful. Alicia was very easy to communicate with. The only thing I would give a heads up for would be that the stairs to the loft were very steep. Wasn’t a problem for me, but for some people it would be.

Off-Season Getaway

My kids and I wanted to do something special during our midwinter break from homeschooling, so we booked a cabin. We were so lucky to find this one! It has a creek and is nestled in the woods like something out of a dream. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We actually had to stay two extra nights due to snow, which worked out fine. Alicia is an excellent host!

Great little retreat

This is a great little retreat for a small family. Very clean, plenty of movies and games provided. Beautiful setting and property,well maintained. Property owner quick to respond to any questions. Well stoked kitchen. The cellular booster and the home was very helpful.

We take vacation in October every year and its or unplug, unwind and relax in nature vacation. Your cabin is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The nights were chilly but we slept so well. The pictures don’t do it justice!

This cabin was soooo cute. It was cozy and so peaceful. The creek meanders beautifully just outside and you can hear it from the bedroom. It was very clean and it is a close drive to Crabtree Falls, which was a challenging and gorgeous hike. My spouse and I loved it and will probably book again!

Lovely mountain getaway

Cute little place we stayed in for our girls cabin weekend. Loved the property and area, clean small cabin with all the necessities. Wineries nearby for a day trip. Would love to return for another stay sometime!
