「A wonderfully kept old building with lots of character. It would’ve been great to have stayed in the main building but we were allocated a room in the new annex. Very clean and orderly with the atmosphere of an officers’ mess. It was very quiet except for a small conference group. It is a walk away from the Navy Museum plus others. Pleasant walks are all round the property. While not the usual hotel experience it was novel.」
