"Ideal location right in the centre of the city. the parking had changed because of a contract issue with the underground parking site (if i understood the explanation correctly) to a site a short walk away for £3 per day which wasnt a problem. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were excellent and welcoming. It was off season and we were the only guests so breakfast was served chilled which in winter wasnt totally ideal. There were no coffee/ tea making facilities in the room but walking down to the bar wasnt a hardship. The bar seemed to run as a seperate entity but the barstaff even brought coffees up to our room when requested. The heater in the room though a little noisy kept the temperature very comfortable. Overall i would recommend and maybe our next trip will be in the summer and see if the few shortcommings were just because we were the only guests."

"Quaint family-run boutique hotel. The owners are wonderful! We were the only guests and they made us a tremendous breakfast spread. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony to sit and enjoy the evening."

"The area was great and hotel were very characterful, especially the lobby area which was delightfully heritage in it's design and appearance. The room was a great size and was very comfortable with a great view and original styled wooden shutters. The room was however very cold at times, the heating was not adequate for a room of that size. The room could also do with some upgrades such as a fridge and/or a safe. I would have preferred the rooms to feel more like the downstairs in terms of character, rather than just white walls. Would have been lovely to have a wooden floor in the room. The bathroom could also be updated to include a shower curtain or a larger shower area to aid in containing water. There were building works going on while we were there so don't know if updates are being made. Staff were very friendly and pleasant, was a really lovely stay."

"Wonderful property - magnificent views and so well maintained. Directions to get there are a bit tricky the first time, but gets easier once you know! The host was so helpful and picked us up from nearby because we were struggling to find it the first night and dropped us off in their car. We had such a great time and will hopefully be back in the future, Highly recommend."

"Room was clean, the check in process could be more clear with instructions prior to arrival as I had to message the property via chat to check in and was helped by a neighbour. A lovely common room, unfortunately no toilet paper in the room and had to again ask the neighbour. Odd set up, great room. No check out instructions. "
