Great 2 day stay near Berat Castle. Much quieter than staying in the old town. Super breakfasts lovely traditional food for dinner and modern spacious room. Family run and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at Te Gjyshi! The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the location was perfect, right in front of Berat Castle. The room was clean and spacious, and the restaurant next door had a great breakfast along with lunch and dinner options. Parking was easy. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that some features on the TV weren’t working. The staff were very helpful and they let us know they had already contacted someone to repair it and were still waiting for them to come. Overall, a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend!

10/10 Amazing place to stay, we wish we could stay longer. The place is so beautiful, if you book a room with balcony view, you’re in for a good time. Staff is amazing, really helpful and the room is clean with some caveat but nonetheless it was above average. Overall we had an excellent experience!

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room had an amazing view and a large balcony. I could sit and watch the sun set. Breakfast was a fresh traditional plated Albanian breakfast with coffee, juice and water included. There was a restaurant at the hotel and taxis nearby which was very convenient. Walking into town was a steep walk down a hill and then back up to get to the hotel, so I’d recommend bringing good walking shoes. I travelled in late September/early October, considered off season but there were still quite a few fellow tourists without the huge crowds which I enjoyed. The room was large and clean, included a kettle and tea. I would definitely recommend and stay here again on my next visit

We were more than satisfied with our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The food in the restaurant was also excellent (local traditional food). The location is fantastic, offering a beautiful view over the town and being just a few minutes' walk from the castle. A shuttle bus to the town center stops right in front of the property, which is very convenient. Since we had an early excursion and didn't have time for breakfast, the staff kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious, clean, and practical. Although the balcony is shared with the neighboring room, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent guest house! The staff were very warm and accommodating. There was convenient designated parking and the guest house was right below Berat Castle.The room was spacious and very clean with a terrace as well. A good breakfast was also included. We ended up needing to stay an extra night, and they worked very hard to make it happen for us.

Nice hotel, especially breakfast! We enjoyed good foods and nice view from the restaurant. Tasty bread and vefetables, fried egg were served. Also very tasty Petulla, Albanian traditional bread, were served with butter and jam. The hotel staff Anisa was very friendly and served ice cream after the breakfast. Thank you so much!
