"This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. "The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. On vous recommande cette adresse si vous souhaitez vous reposer dans un cadre "Relax" Petit bonus, nous avions chaque soir un spectacle magnifique la nuit. "Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

"The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car"

"We had a fantastic week at this charming house. It had everything we needed as a small family. The lake is on your doorstep so it’s very easy to walk down for an evening swim. Would highly recommend. "
