Great staff, great area close to downtown and malecón, nice pool, only thing we didn't like is are room was close to the generator of the hotel and the noice was a little disturb

We received a welcome beverage. Room was ready for early check in. Our shower was clogged and it was fixed within hours. Great location across street of the Zocalo. Very walkable. Malecón w as minutes away as well. Bed was comfortable and room very quiet. Restaurant not very good.

The hotel is very run down. The rooms are old. The elevators didnt work, scaffolding was covering the front door. The only good thing was the location, rigjt across from the plaza.

I stayed at Hotel Veracruz Centro Histórico and overall had a very good experience. The location was fantastic — steps from the main plaza, cafés, and all the energy of the historic center. The staff was genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with directions or questions. Parking was free, which I appreciated, though it’s not on the property, so you do need to walk a short distance. It wasn’t a big issue, but worth noting for anyone arriving with luggage. Overall, a convenient, friendly, and well‑located place to stay in Veracruz’s historic heart.

The lobby is very pretty, the room was cold, staff were friendly and helpful, the shower got hot and had excellent water pressure, and the Sanbornes store attached the hotel had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The restaurant was also good and had friendly staff. I did have to reset my room card a few times, but it was quick to do and only a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was great and I’d be willing to book here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hotel is charming and historic. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the Zocalo. The staff is excellent, at check in, the bellman, housekeeping, the servers at the restaurant, just so attentive and friendly. We definitely appreciate such great service. The pool area is very nice with sufficient pool loungers. We ordered room service one night and our food arrived quickly. They helped us book a taxi for the airport. Everything went so well, we would love to return here in the future.
