"We very much enjoyed our stay. The landlady is very nice and welcoming. The house is spacious, with 5 bedrooms. It is old, which has charm. But older buildings can have some draw backs. For instance, the downstairs bathroom can get a bit smelly/damp, but if you keep the door and window open you’ll have no problem there. The kitchen/diner is fitted for 8, which was nice and spacious with only the five of us. We really loved the patio."

"The apartment was very well equipped, clean and tidy and convenient for visiting the Harz Mountain area. We had beautiful weather the whole week we were there and enjoyed sitting on the balcony when we weren’t going for walks or visiting ancient towns.
