Robert explained how to get in and out gates and door and provided map and details of where to go to reach Verona’s walled city (10-12 minute walk) including tree lined street with stunningly beautiful residences. His charming wife prepared a delicious homemade breakfast including her own jams and condiments and for those with sweet tooth a range of freshly baked cakes to compliment the usual breakfast cold cuts, fruits...

"Check in was easy, location was awesome- 2 blocks to the main piazza, room was spacious and comfortable with tons of old world charm, updated, modern bathroom, very quiet, and a cool little balcony. "My family (6 adult, 1 18 yo, and 1 9 yo) stayed for 8 days on the property. The host Tommaso was amazing from our initial contact to reserve the Villa to the day of checkout. The Villa was clean and spacious and provided a central location for us to make day trips to Verona, Venice, Florence, and Lake Garda. Taxi service from Verona was easy to arrange, although we rented 2 cars for the week as well. I'm surprised by some of the reviews about the property being in need of updating. It was clear...

"Ideal for getting away from it all (we went on honeymoon) tucked away from the crowds. Ideal for visiting Verona and Lake Garda and plenty of wine tasting opportunities. It has a lovely outdoor space for sitting in the sun or shade of the olive tree. My one suggestion for improvement would be better directions / labelling of the property as it took us ages to find. The other one would be it needs some tea towels! Thanks Serena for being a wonderful host."
