There were many issues within the unit that when we addressed the host about, he essentially told us to stop complaining & that everyone else has always been happy with the unit. Including black mold, bad plumbing, heaters that don’t properly function, bad wiring in the kitchen. Despite many of these things being brought to his attention, the host gaslit my wife 90% of the time when we attempted to discuss fixes or solutions with him. It’s very Spanish in nature, but what’s weird is that after checking out (of course I took LOTS of videos & pics upon checkin & checkout) I got a text in what’sApp from an unknown number claiming to be someone associated with the host, saying they want to file a claim against me for damages…I told them to speak with vrbo about any of their needs. This is a slum lord company. My lawyer will be taking up complaint with vrbo regarding this matter. We don’t recommend. We are an EU/non EU blended family, we are very familiar with Spanish custom and rentals & unfortunately this type of behavior is quite common here. It’s just unfortunate for the company that they are barking up the wrong tree.
