「The room has lovely sea views but the carpet is heavily stained and the decor generally quite tired. The room was also incredibly hot despite being offered a fan by the helpful staff. It is a great hindrance that the windows cannot be opened more than a few inches.
For a hotel of this reputation and in this price range, air conditioning should be incorporated throughout.
The ground floor area and amenities like the pool are wonderful, as are the friendly staff.

「A family run hotel, nothing is too much trouble. The bar meals are superb and come out piping hot! The staff are attentive and always met with a smile and engage in conversation and very knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Walking distance of the main town and free parking. Pool was lovely and breakfast had a good selection catering for all tastes. Book for bar meals advised as very busy with visitors and locals, you will see why when you try the menu」

「The hotel was easy to access but quiet and had a beautiful quiet garden. The swimming pool was well maintained and very secluded. Guernsey breakfasts were great and set us up for the day.
Perfect setting for a quiet break, with easy access to buses (and the cycle shop delivered to the hotel direct).
